Child 1 (17) 1st game @5 hardly missed a game since
Child 2 (14) as above
Child 3 (8) 1st game at 5 not really interested but still working on him
Child 4 (6) 1st game @4 currently shredded out of his but he still has GMs and Armstrong's picture on the dart board.
The moral of the story there is no right age

Started going when i was 7, would have been sooner but it was mid 80s and my mum was worried about the fighting. Guess she thought at 7 i could take care of myself.
Desperate to take the wee one to the final but Mrs says its too soon... i suppose at 8 months shes probably right. But she'll be at Tannadice at some point next season.

I took the wee lad today for his 2nd league game. He said we were shocking. He is 7.

Poor wee soul having tae suffer that.
I never saw Utd lose a game for 3 years lol.
Went to my first game at 8 (1988) and first seen us lose 3-2 at Fir Park when i was 11 (1991).
Admittedly my Dad was only taking me to 4/5 games a season at the time...but still.
Was devastated coming oot the game and couldnae understand why people seemed so ok about the fact we'd just lost.
Now i know why lol....ye get used tae it
