like to see us try something different at home...souttar and McGowan feeding Dixon and spittal and encouraging them further forward

I'd play the same team as Tuesday (Rado for Mikal though obvs).
Time to settle the team down and try and aim for some consistency, try and form some sort of familiarity in the starting line-up.
Although i've been critical of the formation and his rotation, watching us the other night it becomes clearer to me that the main thing lacking from the team this season has been desire, hunger and passion. For whatever reason it has been lacking in the team most of the season. With us at times going through the motions.
On days when the team can be arsed or are fuelled by some sort of injustice (Celtic at Tannadice,Aberdeen at Hampden,ICT on Tuesday) we look as though, regardless of who's playing in our starting 11,a tough nut to crack.
We need the players to show that desire and play at that tempo they did in the 2nd half in every match fae now to May.
If we do then teams will need to go some to defeat us,even Celtic.

I'd like to see us try this but swap Fojut and Souttar. Souttar needs to sweep behind the two big centre halves as the spare man. This can also hopefully allow him to step out with the ball.

Been thinking for a while 3 at the back could be the way forward, with Souttar behind 2. Dont think nows the time for a trial tho, leave it till after the cup ties.
Same outfield team as tuesday for now.

Not a day for passing football the disastrous playing surface will see to that. If we want the 3 points utd will have to win the physical battles, strictly no pass backs to the keeper let thistle make the mistakes.

Spot on.
Awful today. Was going to slate a few players but would be here all night. Totally garbage today.
Left after 70 mins and was in the house before the game ended. If I'd been going to pub I would have left at half time.

Ekarab spending over 100 quid to go and watch that in hospo today lol.
Feel sorry for anybody who had to go and watch that garbage.
Think Cup final might be my last game this season.Totally scunnered at the moment.
Selling our 4 most gifted players has ripped the heart+soul out the club and no amount of spin on it can change that.
No shots on target again today (same as last Saturday v St.Johnnies).
Shameful stuff.

Thats as bad as ive ever seen....ever

No shape no width and looked affy like the last few games under houston...just go out and do what you want type of instructions...hope im wrong but behind the sense is affecting big time...us fans deserve a whole lot more

Paul Gallagher had a blether with the East Stand today. Embarrassing stuff.
4 games against Killie, St J, ICT and Partick.
1 point. I reckon I'm realistic about what I expect from United. I expect a performance now and again though. I also expect a defence to be able to defend. If they come out with the fans need to back us shite again them they can fuck off

As i said a few days ago looking at 'Jackie's Judgement' post-St.Johnstone i don't think he'll be here much longer.
There is a real feeling about the club for me that a few think they're above reproach.
Mcnamara,Thompson, even Paul fucking Paton having wee digs at the fans and blaming negativity etc.
Fuck off,patronising shite.
Go out and play and show passion for the badge (like Tuesday past) and the fans will back you 100%.
The fans arenae mugs...something badly wrong behind the scenes imo.
And that comes fae the very top.

Cant quite make my mind up if that was worse than last Sat or not.
See when the players came out for 2nd half, every one of them came out with their head down, went thru that whole pishy warm up thing they do with their heads down. No matter whats been said at half time, they should be coming out heads up and ready for a battle. Worrying.

Spittal, Dow and Anier are complete passengers. Paton, Dillon, Fojut absolute garbage again. Have McGowan and Dixon been any better than Watson and Townsend would have been? Its ok though, we'll win the best bank balance cup though and we all know thats what matters.

The players and management should be ashamed that was woeful in the extreme. Players going backwards Erskine is back to last season form, Dow shocking, Dillon shocking, Spittal hiding for large parts, Telfer never got a touch, Dicker looking a shadow at the moment, the only bright point was Mario coming on.
Too angry, Jackie need to get a fucking grip of things urgently as we were outfought in every department again today.
