deffo mate, canna beat a performance whaur the whole team leaves nothing out on the park...still think we could be better still with morris for Dillon and thought Dow was pretty anonymous..still... a mile better than a lot of half arsed performances this season

Was cynically my first thought too i must confess.

But reading about the young chap he was on trial at Man City 2 years ago...so maybe there's a prospect in there.

Watch this space i guess.

Re: Young Aussie midfielder coming on trial

Defensive midfielder? Doesn't bode well for Petrie and the rest of the Dev squad.

Also find it strange that Butcher hasn't been offered a deal, imo he's been better than both Pates and Ranks this season.

Re: Young Aussie midfielder coming on trial

Bucther surely has to get a deal soon

Is ranks contract finished this summer?

I'm starting tae think he's maybe indicated he wants to go back down South,Andy.

Seems affy strange we've heard nothing about a new deal as he's been very good for us for what?4/5 months now?

Think he still has 1 year left after this season.

Would make sense, cannae think of a reason why wouldn't offer him a deal.

Re: Young Aussie midfielder coming on trial

Nothing wrong with giving the lad a trial, plenty of good swashbuckling sportsmen have come from Tasmania like Ricky Pointon, David Boon. A wee devil is what we're looking for

Re: Young Aussie midfielder coming on trial

I though Butcher was signed on a 2 year deal whilst Kudos was given a 3 year deal.  Jackie must have been on the crack pipe when he made that decision.

Even FourFourTwo getting us and our neighbours mixed up now.

Pretty amateurish stuff from a respected publication.
