No 6 Bus TEK from E,Kilbride to Mount Florida
Aye TEK. We're intending stayin in the Premier Inn East Kilbride just off the Murray Road. We're planning to use the number 6 bus and leaving the car at the hotel, as it goes from practically the front door of the hotel to Battletield Road.
Believe it runs at 10 minute intervals. Wonder if you could give us a skiffy as what you think the costs might be on the bus, and can you pay the driver. Coins notes? Cheers.

Bill i too am getting on the number 6 bus as it goes fae right ootside my hoose tae Battlefield Road.
It's £1.95 single fae EK and (i think) £4 or £4.50 return.
It is a regular bus (about every 10-15 mins) and only takes about 20-25 mins to get to Shawlands max.
If you are up for a pre-Cup Final beer mate just drop us a line on here.

£1.95 from East Kilbride to Glasgow. It's £1.90 on a bus in Dundee.
Are we subsiding the Central Belt AGAIN

I would like to know why it costs more for a return ticket back to EK than it does for two singles to Glasgae, maybe Bill Hainey can enlighten us before Tek fills me in

Saint Ob the 4 quid ticket is an 'all day' ticket.
You can use it as many times as you wish that day,that's why it's dearer than 2 singles.
I'm sure the same system applies in Dundee.
Not some big 'West coast' conspiracy as Hunted would have you believe

It's a contigency plan because we usually go on a bus that's put on thru my best buddy's work, but he retired in December, so it's no longer available.
We may have a couple of places on one of the buses from the Clubby. I'll find out tonight/tomorrow, but if not it's EK.
