Re: Where's Mario?

Hopefully saving himself for a shot at glory and a move to Celtic if he remarkably recovers and finds the net against them in the month of March

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men

Re: Where's Mario?

Apart from being injured he has scored the goal of the season v Motherwell, led the line well and scored in the 1st Derby of the Season v Dundee (a game many including myself were slightly anxious about beforehand) could it be set up for him to gain legendary status with D.U.F.C before the Season's end or am i more dreamer than believer

Re: Where's Mario?

I wasn't impressed with what i seen either,Baldy.

Keep reading people say he played well at Dens.I thought he was fucking louping and we won despite him.

Has always struck me as being lazy with a poor first touch.

But i'm very willing to be proved wrong and hope i am.

Re: Where's Mario?

TBH canna really form an honest-to-god opinion of him. Scored a cracker of a winner against the Well and a braw pen against the Dees, and a great soccer-punch against a BNB, but canna really remember much about him. How many games has he played for us 5/6. Anybody?

@Rocky, cheers mate.

@TEK, astute observation, it's a bit of a personal joke.

No sure how many games hes played but the boy still needs to be given a chance hope he comes aff the bench and scores the winner any of the 3 tim games

Re: Where's Mario?

I still hold out hope for him.  The 1st game of the season when he got the ball at the edge of our box and tore past about 3 of their players right into their box before laying it off tho Erskine was right out of the ordinary for a big striker in our league, as was his goal against Motherwell.  I remember thinking that we had a right good player on our hands.

Too much commotion

Re: Where's Mario?

The direct quote from Mario was "Now I think the determination to defeat them on Wednesday has grown but I felt a tweak in my other hamstring so I will have to wait to see if I can play in that one".

Re: Where's Mario?

He looked good on Saturday for me, bullied the two centre backs and allowed us to get some good posession in the final third. So if he is out then that i a blow as i wouldn't be too unhappy if Cifci came in for Dow and the two of them were on from the start.
