Got a horrible feeling we might see someone depart Utd tomorrow.

I certainly hope not.

And i also haven't given up on us signing Dixon.

Gonna be a very interesting and (perhaps stressful) last day for us Utd fans.

If we lose GMS i will also be dissapointed but Connolly and Erskine could step up i suppose.Though neither has the class of him on his day (Connolly eventually will though imo).

Think if the Dixon thing is on the cards, then it will happen regardless. Not sure if the rumours are just that tho.

To be fair Anier, when fit may prove a suitable replacement up top, but would still want another option in.

None of the Motherwell fans i've spoken too seem to think he's a forward.

A bit like Dow in that respect.

We cant sell either player to a rival club this window let alone both if our chairman and board have any ambition for this season.

Tom Duthie tweeting that there's more chance of the Dixon deal happening in the Summer.

I guess it's completely down to freeing up a wage for him (which would be in our terms,quite a substantial one).

I don't think it'll be wages with United that'll be the sticking point TEK, laddie probably wants paid up to leave Huddersfield while he still has time on his contract.

We've freed up probably £2200 or so a week on Wilson and Watson combined and I don't think we'll offer Dixon as much as that.

If Dickers is on say £6000 a week at Huddersfield, with 20 weeks left on his contract he'll be looking for £50k+ to leave now I would have thought.

If he gets close to that I think he'll sign for us today, assume the medical has already been done.

Great news, hopefully goes through without any issues and if we can hold onto GMS and Armstrong i'll be taking that all day long.
