Worth reading back on this case, now I might have it wrong, from memory she's never ever denied the offences, just that they shouldn't be offences.

The fines in every one of the cases she's been done for are obviously excessive, but she's deliberately gone against he signs, lines, laws whatever are in place, hundreds of times.

At the Wife's work, folk constanty abuse the spaces closest to the kids ward knowing the tickets won't be enforced, all to save about £2.30 a day parking, you can't even get the bus there and back or park for anymore than 2 hours in the town for that.

Just re-read parts of the story, she could have bought a parking permit at the cost of £40 a month, but she refused.

Her problem has been that someone has probably told her that these can't be enforced, like if you're caught in Lidl or Gallagher Retail Park, as they have to prove you were the driver, which they can't.

So she's taken the line, "Fine me you can't do anything about it!" but she's got it massively wrong.

Given the fuss this has kicked up, I expect she may be offered a deal, but really she shouldn't be, but she seems the sort who would kick up about that as well.

You park once, get a fine and you rubber it, you probably get away with it, maybe even a second or third time, do it over 200 times and eventually it'll catch up with you.
