I'll definitely contribute! There are still some other free forum platforms going around if an alternative is required though Pro Boards being one.
I personally wouldn't want to lose all the posts this forum has built up, occasionally I'll read what was happening 10 years ago and I hope to do this in another 10 years.

Hi folks
Brand new poster on here, but as some old timers will know (hi japanarab!) I've been on United boards for many many years.
Decided to create a login here to keep reading, and maybe start posting again a bit too, as I echo the view that this is the best United board around. And would be happy to chip in a bit of cash to keep the board ticking over.

Welcome to the Forum, PA.
Happy to have you here.

I also don't post very much, but enjoy checking in to read the posts on, IMO the premium United forum and I would be happy to contribute a little to keep this place running.

I've made a contribution this morning.
If you want to do so you need to ask Tek on a private message for his bank details.
Cheers Arabs 🧡

Give it a week or 2 for Tek to recieve any donations then going forward what about some sort of paid membership for a small incentive. If we could get say 20 people to contribute £1 a month that covers our yearly cost of the forum, the remaining money goes to a raffle for members as a small prize. Or remaining money is put in a pot to cover future fees and there is some sort of raffle prize through a donation. This may encourage more people to sign up. Or we see how many people would be up for putting in £1 a month with no incentive and take it from there.

Likewise mate.
Though I think it was the semi final. I was home for the final, too drunk to text anyone and there wasn't much good news to share anyway.
But we'll always have the Jason Scotland winner

Just wanted to come on and say i am absolutely humbled by the response to my post the other day.
I have received half a dozen donations in the past few days already. I have about a dozen DMs, and around 20 new members have signed-up in the past week (the most in a week since i started the Forum in July 2014).
In 4 days time the subscription of the site is up and thanks to the overwhelming kindness of you Gentleman, i have a lump sum to put down that will secure the site for the next 6 months of fees (the most you can subscribe at a time).
Every single donation is so kind and from the bottom of my heart i thank you, one and all.
I will put a proper thread on Sunday to individually name and thank every single donator and financial contributor to the site.
Once again, Thank You.![]()

Hi all,
New member here.
My first United match was in 1977, a time when the team were playing great football with promising young players, but struggling to score enough goals to challenge for trophies. Jim McLean then bought Willie Pettigrew and Eamonn Bannon and the rest is history.
The current team looks the best in ages - solid at the back, with a competent goalkeeper, a brilliant midfield and some creative forwards. Hopefully Jim Goodwin can add another goal scorer to ensure they regularly challenge for Europe and get to the later stages of the cups again. I would be happy to contribute to keep the forum going, as I follow United closely and they have played a significant part in my enjoyment of life (though with a few disappointments along the way!)

We have had our up's n downs over the years Always.

Apologies Tek. I've just noticed your Post about this. I think I may already have some of your Bank Details ?
Think you possibly sent them to me in a PM a while back, when getting the 'LEGENDS' Calendar I think.
I'll check if I can find them if they're still in the PM list. Of course if they're still correct.
