Answers some of the doubters about the chairman bleeding the club.  Good interview all round and keeps the fans up to date on the clubs aims and intentions.

You would expect Luigi to talk positively about the club however overall it sounds like UTD are a well run club with everybody pulling in the same direction.
But should I believe any of that as ive read on here that the club is a basket case run by incompetent fools.

I'll add in a couple of football based gripes as well, then general a sport example...

Almost every coach/manager/owner when talking about the team says "At the Football Club, to the Football Club, for the Football Club!" and so on.

What's wrong with just saying United, Dundee, Celtic, Cowdenbeath or just 'The Club' ? a very minor annoyance, but it's annoying, to me anyway.

Then the sports one.....

Andy Murray is being interviewed after a match and he's a male tennis player, so it's questions being asked about men's tennis......

Interviewer "Andy, you were the first player to do x, how does that feel?"

Murray "Ackshullllllyyyyyyy, Gabriel Sabatini back in 1987, did blah, blah, blah!"

In the context of the interview, it's glaringly obvious that we're only referencing the men's game, nobody needs to know....
 

I thought the interview was pretty good from Capuano and he was honest. It was also good to hear from him talk extensively about United after all this time.

Very good to hear we have 4 scouts appointed to scout potential new signings and our recruitment is not just based on data. That was my main takeaway from the interview. 

I do have to laugh every time they suggest 'the Chairman stepped in' regarding a player signing though.

What they really mean is he agreed to up the playing budget. Years ago this wasn't mentioned.

One other thing i didn't like was Capuano mentioning that 'they' the Utd hierarchy made a 'collective' decision that the club would adopt a 'possession' based game. Now i have actually heard Goodwin himself mention this in post-match interviews. That he's disappointed in our possession stats or that we could have 'controlled the game better'.

Liam Fox used to say similar actually. 

I don't think the fans care about this at all. I certainly don't. Just that we want to win matches.
