The Club will be receiving updates from Jim about his health status and specifically whether he may be able to return to work soon or whether the recovery programme is a longer term issue.

If it's the latter scenario the club will have to consider whether Lee Sharpe is the best person to take the first team through the campaign.

But I would say again our frailties in attack and in defence could end up being a fatal combination if the correct decisions and coaching aren't in place.

The answers will become visible in due course.
