Antony Ralston, not one person in Scotland rates the guy, especially the fans who watch him most weeks.
It's no coincidence that Celtics worst run in well over a generation is the only time Ralston has had a run in the team.
Mate, Ralston is streets ahead of Rawlins and Naamo.
Still wouldn't want him. I don't want loans from Celtic or Deadco.

I would take Cameron from the currant buns, purely because he’s a decent player and an Arab to boot. But I agree with your overall point as a whole.

Seen a few mentions of Cameron, anything in it?

Agreed about Cameron, would definitely take him but Deadco want Cameron off the books so he may end up going south.

Scott Burns now reporting Lyall Cameron news. Not saying 'done deal' but says player trained with Rangers this morning and is just awaiting the green light to head to United on loan.

Good, I like to have a few arabs in the team.

Wouldn't be impressed by Cameron. Not sure we need him. Seems very like Tait (or at least where Tait should be playing). Also didn't exactly impress up at Aberdeen. I'd rather take Souttar if we were taking a Rangers player.

Only really ever watched him in Derbies, but he was often one of the best players on the pitch in my view. The January '25 cup game he was head and shoulders above anyone else that night.
If it happens, it's a decent option, and it would be fair to say he's an upgrade on Eskesen. Can also play deeper when required.
Hopefully another on top of Cameron to come in and give us 6 options in centre mid again.

Cameron is an excellent signing if we manage to get it over the line.

I'd agree he's an upgrade on Eskesen, but if we are bringing him in then we'll need to play him (unlike Eskesen). The other way of looking at it is, have the Dees missed him? I'm not sure they have.
I know he's an Arab, and that is clearly a good thing, but always thought he was too lightweight and was very surprised when Rangers came in for him.

Cameron is a very talented player, but i just dont like loan deals from the arsecheeks. Also, as above where does he play, who does he replace, and is this position a priority when we're short in other areas?

Being reported as a done deal elsewhere so will just have to give the laddy a chance...

Cameron would be an excellent signing, cracking player and being an Arab also helps.
Assume it would be in the number 10 role so would improve that option
6. Agyei
8. Tait/Camara
10. Cameron/Yoro
So we would still need another option for DM now Sevelj has gone

Where I’m at. Whenever I watched him in the past he looked like a very good player. Particularly in derbies.
Also agree with everyone on loans in general. Short term thinking. But coming from the OF makes no difference to me. Many of our foreign loans have been duds. If we can get players like Souttar, Cameron or Ralston on loan I would much rather have them than foreign gambles.

Twitter rumour:
FootballPark understands Austria Vienna have rejected a second offer from Dundee United for Moritz Wels, worth around €400k including add-ons.
Edit to add: winger/attacking mid

We've got 4 central midfielders. We play a 433. We want 2 players for every position. Seems pretty simple to me?

Cameron is a good signing almost showing a bit of ambition for a change.

Delighted with Cameron
I reckon Yoro is more of sevelj replacement and Cameron would slot in to the more advanced midfield role

Nathan Patterson gets a move to Serie A.
I'm away down to Sports Direct to pick up a pair of boots, anyone needing anything whilst I'm in?

Not really a surprise but suspect he’ll spend a lot of time on the bench if he goes there.

From Man Utd News today: Manchester United promising midfielder Jack Moorhouse is set to join Scottish side Dundee United on loan, according to The Daily Mail. Then mentions Dundee but our manager and club?

Again, thought so but it went on to mention Goodwin and how we had played so far.
