What is it & Where did you get it? ![]()

Hard to pin down one in particular for me, at the moment I like a Karahi and a Jahlandri, both with Chicken Tikka I'm afraid. Cook with just normal chicken when at home though, something about tikka I just can't get enough of sometimes.
Go to a place called Agra on Crow Road in Anniesland that is close by me, really good. And when in Hamilton it is either the Pir Mahal, The Manzil or The Bombay Cottage, all very long established places. I tried the Malabar in Dundee which I really liked, few years ago now though.

Will try most things on the menu unless I'm absolutely starving and it has to be the old favourites section - jipuri, tikka masala, bhuna, balti etc. Got this dish in a Glasgow Indian once, can't remember what it was called but it was green and tasted great.
Can't go wrong with most Indians in Hamilton.

The Shezad has now opened up above the Stobie Bar and the Janter Manter is as good as it was on Castle St as was the garlic chicken and lamb chilli tikka masala. The Rogan Josh however was pretty bland though im led to believe the Egyptian kebab is a great alternative to all previously mentioned according to a friend who can eat like a bear, not entirely convinced he can't define pundige from palatable pleasure but watch this space as it's on the bucket list ![]()

Have been using the Cinnamon on Main St in Dundee as our latest haunt.
Depending on the mood or where we're eating I'll go for
Lamb Biryani
Lamb Rogan Gosh
Tandoori Mixed Grill
Chicken Tikka Massala
Afghani Gosht
Lamb Pathia
And as girly as it is, I love when we get a curry is someone gets a Chicken Korma, far too sweet to eat as a whole dish but great for the odd dip with the nan.
The wee man is at The Morgan and he and his mates went to the new Shehzad for their dinner and sat in the other day, they're doing the same this Thursday.
Times change, we used to just get an pie and a merri-mate, sit doon curries, fuck sake.

Have to say the Cinnamon is still one of the best in Dundee and the Tandoori mixed grill is subliminous, full pundige and a must for anyone thinking about a takeaway. Only drawback is the lack of King Prawn (garlic/chilli dip) but like anything else can be added if requested. Yumm ![]()
