I might change my prediction to 4-0 now.
Joking aside, reading the story it's not giving much away but doesn't sound serious. Hope it's just precautionary and there's nothing wrong.FFS United!
That is the funniest thing i have read on here. 4-0 😂 love it you are a gem on here david.

The passages of play have been there in previous games, the finishing hasn't of course, it's only 45+ minutes, but maybe all it needed was to click.

We’ve been clinical this half anyway. Killie are stinking.

Fuck sake.

Excellent win.

Most overdue result in Scottish football.
Maybe after all those times going there, not winning or playing well means a 4-0 pumping was on the cards.

Delighted for the players and management team (and the fans, obviously).
We played well for large parts of that game.
Goals throughout the team and could have scored more.
Don't think we have been as bad as results would indicate but equally theres no medals for nice fitba.step one of answering their critics. Hopefully with a bit of confidence, they can continue to address the concerns

That was a lot of fun. I know Killie were pish, but I'm delighted with that.
Cracking strike from Ferry and I'm delighted that Randall has got a goal - I think he definitely needed a wee confidence boost and hopefully that does it.

Honestly could not see us getting a result today at all
But fairs fuck- that is a tremendous win, we’ve probably been due a win where we’ve been clinical
Get well soon Goodwin

Jack Walton. Well played son. What a difference a good keeper makes.

I thought this was a game where we were even better without the ball than we were with it. Killie were shite let's face it but the defence rarely gave them the space they wanted. Our midfielders hunted in packs to get the ball back after they'd lost it 😄
Could have been 6 or 7.
Thought Merghem was standout, caused them all sorts of problems.

A very good victory for the confidence of the team.
Hope that made Goodwin feel a bit better if he is looking at the forums it will make better reading than last week. Although if we lose to Mwell the usual posters will be back

Today showed that it was not so much of a crisis that we had but just a tough run of fixtures and a disappointing derby. We have been threatening to do something if it could click
Get well soon to JG
I thought Esselink was good today. Defence seemed to deal quickly with any danger though partly it might also have been that Killie were poor going forward.
Credit also to Walton, Agyei, Ferry and Sapsford
Great performance today. Onwards and upwards

It would appear that some of the Killie troubles are that they no longer get have the fake grass. Falkirk next to lose that advantage

A long overdue comfortable win and clean sheet. And a 90 minute performance to boot.
Whilst there were still some moments of play that were far from perfect (mostly offensively), it would be fair to say it was a real team effort today. The midfield in particular dominated today.
Would it be unfair to suggest there was a much better balance about the team minus Dylan Tait?
Some interesting subs from Lee Sharp i felt. And even more interesting non-subs.
To not take Bert off when he was sitting on a yellow and final warning after 60 minutes was brave (some may even say foolhardy). Now the Whatsapp rumour mill has Ross Graham going to Salford City. Could it be that Iurie Iovu could also depart? I can't understand why he gambled so much there, but thankfully it didn't come back to haunt us.
Also interesting that he never brought on Metsoko considering the game was over at half time and we looked in the mood for goals.
Some very good individual displays today (Walton, Agyei, Camara, Merghem). And a secial mention for Pan Camara. Despite yesterdays very public spat with his own 'supporters', i felt he was very, very good today. That was the best we've seen him for quite some time and he looked 'up for it' from the kick off. Lets hope this is some kind of return to form because for all his faults, he's also a good player when he's in the mood.
P.s i felt the penalty we got was very soft, but if Hearts get that penalty against us at Tynecastle then we have to get that today. Not that either should be penalties.
Hopefully that win can give some players a confidence boost.
Very interesting final few days of the window coming up. If the rumoured departures are all true then hopefully we still have 3 or even 4 coming inbound. In particular we need a Striker. Sounds like a funny thing to say after scoring 4 goals, but i felt the Strikers were again poor today and we could have easily scored 6 or 7 if we had a decent penalty box Striker on the pitch.
My player ratings on a happy afternoon -
Walton 8 - Very good display today. Made vital stops at key moments.
Rawlins 6 - He was 'ok'. Still expect a lot more from him, but hopefully today is the start of better form and something to build on.
Esselink 9 - Bert redemption arc complete? Thought he was outstanding today. An absolute rock.
Forbes 6 - Still feel he has ropey moments. But played his part in a clean sheet.
Ferry 7 - If that is to be his final performance in tangerine and black then what a way to bow out. Sublime strike, and on his weaker foot. His best goal for United.
Agyei 8 - Excellent display.
Camara 8 - His best display in 8 months since the Ayr United Cup game. Back to doing his pirouettes in midfield, dominating the play and spreading the ball about from the engine room. Lets hope that's the end of his online spats and he can finally recapture some form.
Yoro 6 - Fairly quiet i thought, but some nice link up play at times.
Merghem 7 - Thought he had a strong game today and showed real promise. Good first touch on him and good feet. Final ball could be better, but hopefully the best is still to come.
Sapsford 6 - Took his penalty well but i felt his performance was pretty poor over all tbh.
Bennie 7 - Similar to Merghem on the other wing, showed some good touches and skill, but final ball or pass sometimes let him down. Put in one lovely cross however that Sapsford should have buried. There's something there with him though.
Subs -
Naamo 5 - First game in a good while and he was fairly quiet. Not sure what the future holds for him at Tannadice. Perhaps a better chance for game time coming up if Sevelj is indeed departing. But if we sign another Right Back i'd suggest the writings on the wall for him. Perhaps a loan move would benefit him.
Rose 5 - Sorry, just not seeing it with him. Runs about and presses but that's about it. Another gilt edged chance wasted.
Randall 6 - Felt his cameo was again looking like a deeply frustrating one. But then he pops up with that goal (good finish too). Hopefully this can help his confidence and help him find some better form.
Farrugia 5 - Pretty anonymous
