Starting XI and formation for the visit of our neighbours from the other side of the street?

I'd probably go with this and whilst i'm not writing Rawlins off yet, some of our fans have, he doesn't perform here, he might never be given a fair crack to haul it back.

Esselink
Sevelj

Agyei
Camara
Sapsfrod

Probably too early for Yoro to start, maybe Mehgren or Bennie can play as one of the front 3, nice to have options.

Anyone started to feel a wee bit nervous yet?

A back four of Gough Hegarty Narey and Malpas I was still nervous just in a good way. It's healthy. The thought of losing to them isn't.
We really need to be imposing ourselves on them and scoring some goals here.
Unleash the Yoro.

I've not lived in Dundee for 33 years so am not quite as bothered by derbies these days. I don't come across many Dees and the ones I do are generally the sensible type who reluctantly accept that we have been the better team for a long time. I therefore don't get to work on a Monday fearing the wee team gloat when they do turn us over. That said on the day of the match the butterflies are there.

The older you get the more you enjoy the derbies.
They tend to be open attacking matches with very few 0-0 games.
They don’t mean as much as they used to when we only played each other twice a season
Hopefully its a UTD victory on Saturday but it won’t spoil my weekend if it’s not

This starting 11 for me.
There are only 10 tickets left in the home end…. though Utd could still release another section at the end of the shed and also restricted view seats if they wanted.

Don't think Will Ferry plays. I'm expecting more Cruyff turns from Kevin instead.

Finn mate That's the superiority complex that beset them until the great Dens Park massacre of '65.
We need to go out and sstick it right up them every time or we're going backwards.

I saw Will at the training centre yesterday in training gear.
If he’s fit and training, play him.

If he's still here he'll play.
Their lad Joe Bevan looks a real good player on their right wing.
We'll play our strongest XI. Might be his last game for us, but he'll play. I'm confident of that.

I didn't see the Celtic game last week and pretty much all I've read and heard about the game is the handball incident and us hitting the woodwork 5 times.
How did the new guy Kevin play? I'm not even attempting to spell his surname.

Tried to do too much but looks like he'll do well IMO.

I thought that he looked a decent technical player. Unlike his counterpart in the other full back role he blocked a few crosses and put a few tackles in.

I agree. He started a little bit overconfident maybe, trying to play out when it need punting upfield but soon settled into a decent debut.
I'm keen to see more of Merghem and Yoro too.

Would love to see Will Ferry sign off with a Derby win.
