Yup, we get it, it was a relatively unknown disease, but some of the rules were daft, when we were allowed back into pubs in the first instance we and another couple were allowed to sit across from each other at a table in a pub, eat and drink for two hours, move to the next pub and so on.

But we couldn't then sit in his garden bar where we were spaced out even further apart.

I know that was probably to stop house gatherings, but if you were sensible about it, it was never an issue.

Then you found out those at the very top were ripping the pish.

The only positive was that I didn't have to watch Melon's football in person.
