2026/27 kits

Are we still with Errea next season?

Also, can anyone remember when the kits were revealed last season?

As much as I loved this seasons kit, I hope we go back to an all tangerine top with black (and maybe an touch of white) trim.

A nice new shiny player to model it in a brilliant reveal, would also be nice.

Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaaaaah!!

thanks.

I've been liking the Errea kits so far.

Adidas will never happen.  I doubt we're a big enough club to get them on board. unless it is for one of their most basic generic kits.

You had to burst my bubble. I loved my 1980 and 1983 adidas kits. Adidas were a shoe company trying to break into the football shirt market. Everyone else had these woolly Umbro tops. Plus they were made in West Germany.

Did I say it wouldn't happen?  What I mean to say was Adidas will be heading round to yours with original versions of our old Adidas kits for you to keep (signed by the teams that wore them) and with a full presentation as to why United should let Adidas dream about being our kit supplier for the next 10 years.

They will also give you two special pairs of customised ZX8000's in United colours, one pair to wear and one pair to keep boxed.

Hope that's better.........

So,

1) Original strip.
2) Made in Germany, prior to unification
3) No sponsor
4) Proper drawstrings on shorts

Can I swap the ZX8000s for the adidas tracksuit with the black sleeves and cream body?

Ok, that sounds like a deal.

Quite honestly, their strips aren't the calibre they were when we had them imo.

The famous 3 stripes only going to the shoulder just looks pish.

I absolutely loved United playing in long sleeves with the 3 famous black stripes going all the way down to the cuffs (or down to the end of the cut of the shirt if short sleeve). With the shiny black shorts with tangerine 3 stripes and the original Adidas emblem. That was the peak.

It will never be this quality of a strip again or anything near it.

Errea have been excellent and i wouldn't be against us extending their deal. They offer bespoke kits, at least. Unlike Nike or Adidas (for a club of our size anyway).

If this is our final season of Errea, i'd like going forward either Hummel again or i'd like to see what Puma kits looked like in tangerine and black.

P.s. not relevant to the conversation exactly, but what the Hell ever happened to Asics? I loved their strips.

Huge in the 90's globally, then just disappeared.

The Asics strip of the late 80s, early 90s is my all-time favourite, probably because it was my early teens, and I was at my most football-obsessed.

Re: 2026/27 kits

The last cracking strip was the championship on based the 87 top.

If ever strip represented a season it was this one. Tried something different but ultimately it was shite and we're glad to see the back of it.

"Don't F*cking ever offer me that again!"

The latest Japan kits adidas stripes go all the way down —on the long sleeves at least. Would love us going back to Adidas. Contrary to most, I think the Errea kits have been a bit shite apart from the first one. Collars look cheap and flimsy.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

I've actually liked this seasons home kit.

It was memorable at least. Will always remind me of Amar Fatah.

Not quite. They have an infuriating blank gap in between shoulder arm and elbow. It does my head in.

No idea why we can't just have anything good as a society anymore. Put those stripes all the way down ffs.

The three stripes don't even go all the way down to the cut of the shorts. Why? It is weird, why you would purposely destroy the greatest and most iconic sporting brand.

Re: 2026/27 kits

I really like Joma as a kit supplier. The FC Lorient kit would look class.

Fundamentally it is better going for a supplier who is, trying to break into the shirt market, rather than an established one. Established ones get complacent.
