Re: TT - End of Season Awards

POTY: Ferry - Fatah and Stephenson would run him fairly close, Agyei likely too if had been here all season, Ferry edges it for me as I think it was his form from February onwards that drove us on to our best spell of the season, along with Agyei solidifying the midfield. None of the players mentioned would be a wrong answer though.
YPOTY - Fatah
Signing of the Season - Agyei
Unsung Hero - Stephenson - Doesn’t get the same attention he got last season, but just as reliable and likeable, hope he goes on to have a great career.
Goal of the Season - Sapsford against Vienna also.
Game of the Season - Has to be Vienna at Tannadice for me, despite the result it was a real spectacle, and gave people an insight into what the European nights were like in the 80’s.
Three word to sum up the United side of 25/26 - Dull as Dishwater

If I can add a couple categories;

Worst player of the season - Kucherenko for me, was heading into Birighitti territory before he was dropped and sold. We might have just made top 6 if not for him.
Must Improve - Ross Graham. Has been poor to awful without Gallagher and Holt alongside him this season, I accept he had a bad injury at the start of the season, but he’s had a long time to get up to speed. He’s not a young boy anymore, so the fuck ups are becoming less and less acceptable.

Re: TT - End of Season Awards

I think that the display team should receive an award also as once again they have been fantastic this season 👏

Re: TT - End of Season Awards

POTY - Will Ferry After a slow and strange start for him, I feel over the course of the season he was the most consistent player

YPOTY - Amar Fatah Would have been my POTY but did miss a number of games through the season, in which I think he'd have done wonders for us, but without a shadow of a doubt, the YPOTY

Signing of the season - Pan Camara The first half of the season, Pan was absolutely outstanding.  I'm not sure if becoming a dad while away from his family has affected him, or if there is indeed something behind the scenes with him and JG after the Ayr game, but from August to January, he showed signs of a wonderful football player.

Unsung Hero - Craig Sibbald Bit of a bitter taste once the Falkirk pictures come out but there was a spell during the season where it felt like Sibs was involved in everything and chipped in with a few cracking goals to suit.  A good servant for us.

Goal of the season - Max Watters pen v. Vienna Hear me out here!  This was the hardest one for me to pick and there were various reasons for chosing some others, but when I thought back to this game,  we'd just went 2-0 up against Rapid Vienna, I was celebrating with my old man and my young lad, Tannadice was absolutely bouncing and you just don't get that feeling very often where it felt like something special was happening.  Alas, the 2nd half was a sign of things to come during the season but that goal just felt different.

Game of the Season - 2-1 vs Celtic This was the hardest one to pick for me, as there were a few cracking games in such a drab season.  But this was the first time my son (25) had seen us beat Celtic live and for that reason it sneaks it for me.

Three words to sum up the United side of 25/26 - Defending Like Schoolboys
