Re: Loan Watch 25/26

On Friday (9/1/26) -

In The Scottish Championship -

Miller Thomson was a late substitute for Ross County who defeated Partick Thistle 2-0 at home in Stuart Kettlewell's first match in charge, upon his return to Dingwall. This was the Staggies first win in several weeks and despite the fact they remain bottom of the league, it moves them to within two points now of Queens Park in second bottom (albeit The Spiders have a game in hand).

In Scottish League One -

Lewis O'Donnell once again started for Cove Rangers who drew 0-0 at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. This point moves Cove into 8th place, leapfrogging Hamilton Academical in the process (albeit Accies also have a game in hand).

Ruairidh Adams played the full match for East Fife upon his return to Bayview, and his 2nd debut brought about a 2-1 win for Dick Campbell's men at home against Cove Rangers, for whom Lewis O'Donnell played the full match in central midfield. East Fife are 7th in the table and Cove are 8th.

Charlie Dewar played the full match for Alloa Athletic who registered a fine 2-1 in Dumfries against QotS. The Wasps remain comfortably 4th in the table and now look a sure bet for at least a Play-Off place.
