Yep, been very poor this season. We need someone in to do what Pappoe was supposed to, we’re too light in terms of competition in the middle of the park.

This might be a very leftfield shout, but i actually think Keresztes could be a good CDM. He's a good tackler, comfortable with the ball at his feet and a good passer.
It would also allow Ross Graham to play his natural position.
It's worth a go imo.

It literally must take twice as long to type that out in Doric as it would just to type it out in plain English 😅

Kucherenko has the makings of a good goalkeeper but this single arm punch he does is going to kill his career.
THIS.
I totally disagree with the shouts of 'he can never play for us again'.
He 100% needs dropped and can't play again for a good few weeks. His confidence is shattered and he looked a disconsolate and broken young man Post-Match.
But, this is not a Mark Birighitti situation in as much as Yehvenii actually has some very good qualities. He has produced some outstanding saves and his quick distribution at times has been excellent too.
His achilles heel is simply cross balls. This was also the downfall of Radoslaw Czierniak, another excellent Eastern European shot stopper.
We have signed the lad for 2 years, with a 3rd year option. If he can somehow iron out this massive flaw in his game i still think he can be a top player for us (though i see him as more a longterm prospect tbh).
But he 100% can't play for us again until this punching the ball situation is addressed properly.
This is something our much vaunted Goal Keeping coach, Paul Mathers should be able to sort out on the training ground, surely? It's ONE issue after all.
From Monday at training onwards i'd ban him form punching the ball. If you're coming for the ball you catch it, the end. If you don't think you can claim the ball, don't come for it and trust your Centre Halves instead.
The back line needs some basic order at set pieces. Immediately.
Because this season has been chaotic at the back, and will undermine our entire campaign at this rate.
Which would be a shame with what is (i believe) a talented group of honest players.

Our midfield is the biggest problem in the team imho. Whenever Bert had the ball today, neither of them were showing for the ball. Pappoe's replacement is just as big a problem as the goalkeeper come January.

I also think the keeper would be a really decent keeper if he would catch the ba ffs. He's made a lot of good saves and is comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Vicko and Sibbald were way off it in midfield yesterday, we were getting the run around in there and leaving the backline wide open to attack. We seem lost without Pan in there.
Need to get big Ross back in that backline. Is Kilmarnock's pitch the place to give him his first start of the season though with no match fitness?

A disgrace of a performance.
Keeper needs taken out the spotlight for a few weeks. He has some good qualities (shot stopping and distribution), but his ability at cross balls (or lack thereof) is absolutely killing us and will destroy his career.
I was pissed off yesterday listening to Jim Goodwin heap praise on our Goalkeeper coach, Paul Mathers. Reason being that Kucherenko is making the exact same mistakes as he has going as far back as July. After Hibs away he needed dropped and he shouldn't have played again until he stopped punching every cross. He hasn't and it's killing us. Richards has to start next week.
Back three slow and ponderous. As said above Brian Graham out-pacing us for the 3rd is eye-opening to put it mildly.
Midfield non-existent in the absence of our best player (Camara).
Forwards anonymous bar Amar Fatah who was our best player by miles.
I'll say what i've been saying all season. We have some talented players, but i don't think Jim Goodwin knows how to get the best out of them or utilise them correctly.
I also don't think he knows his best formation or best XI.
We were one dimensional last season and a horrible watch, but at least we had a game plan i.e. stop the opposition scoring at all costs, defend every set-piece, and try and nick one at the other end. We ground out so many wins and points.
I'm not sure what the game plan is this season. We are wildly up and down (sometimes even in the same match).
The Jekyll & Hyde of the Scottish Premiership.
For me, something is not adding up. The remarks Goodwin made when we signed Kucherenko: “commands the box” “maturity” “technically gifted” contradict the reality. We all know his weakness but why has that not been addressed? What is Mathers actually doing? Is it possible that Mathers is encouraging him to punch the ball when under pressure or is he punching the ball because he lacks confidence? Either way I think much of this falls back on Mathers. Goalkeepers thrive on confidence. The need to have clarity, composure and commitment. It was noticeable, yesterday that nobody reassured Kucherenko in anyway after either of the goals. To me, that shows a lack of togetherness and leadership. Not for the first time, I wonder if this multinational squad need to spend more downtime together and maybe bond with some team building activities. The sign of a great team is how they behave when they face adversity. Yesterday they chucked it.

I've already agreed with your last point Mcbonzo that the team gave up when the 3rd went in.
I watch these things closely and for me only Stephenson & Kerestezs were still giving 100% in the last 15mins.
At one stage Kerestezs caught up and overtook Ferry when Falkirk were breaking up the park. Not good enough from a captain.
There is talent in the team but not enough will to win.
Graham & Cleal Harding ( both Utd supporters) would help put a bit of pride back.
into the team.
I want to see the team go down swinging, not throwing the towel in.
JG as a player was never short of effort or leaving a bit on his tackles, surely he can't be happy with this team of lightweights.

Heard a rumour at the game yesterday that a certain player in yesterday’s starting 11 has his eyes set on a transfer away in January. It’s not a concrete source but make of that what you will.

Can't make much of it unless you tell us who it is.

I’d be shocked if he is still here come February

Ferry has looked for some time like his head has been turned.
A shadow of the player we had and I can only assume his contract is rock solid and not dependent of his current form.

I think everything has been said that needs to be said about a rock bottom performance. But would just add a couple of things.
343
In what alternative arrogant universe does the manager expect that to work without Camara? Surely as soon as he knew Camara wouldn't play he needs to go
352 to give us an extra man in midfield?
Camara has carried our midfield and without him we look weak and disjointed.
As we did again yesterday. The manager needs to do his job properly and he failed miserably yesterday by not changing away from 343. He's literally playing Celtic football manager with our club and it needs to f ucking stop.
Coaching.
How is it possible for 11 players to look like they've never met. Week after week.
Our passing, defence, positional sense, ball control, link up play and creativity is abysmal.
I'm afraid we have to face the potential reality that since Rapid Vienna, Goodwin is making these players worse as a team. I'll stay behind him to see how it goes but these lapses have to stop.
Winter in Dundee.
Some of these players look like they're thinking it was a mistake. I've no actual evidence for this, it's just a gut feeling. Get some of our young Scots back into this side immediately. Richards as well, Graham and Cleall Harding must come in.
Iovu and Esselink must drop out.
Tannadice.
What the fcuk has happened to our home backing?
Maybe it was different in person but on TV it sounded like a morgue.
Warriors.
Last season we had that in abundance. This season I can only see 1 and he's not even our player. This needs to change.

Times up Jim.
Ferry will be off for nothing
Strain off (not a big miss btw)
Goodwin has had chance after chance after chance. 18 new players a season and it’s still the same tragic displays time after time.
Get rid or walk. He is holding us back

Anyone else notice when he should F**k Off to the ETL in the first half after there was a bit of Booing when f**cking Falkirk walked through us for the umpteenth time? Pr1ck.
Captain and that was the first thing I seen him shout all game.

He took us to 4th and Europe last season.
He's having a difficult time at this point but he has earned the right to see if he can fix it.

Agree with this. Some of our support have never fully took to Goodwin for whatever reason, He's only ever a week away from being the hero or villian. If we go on a terrible run between now and the end of the year with no signs of things getting any better then I would reconsider my position.

Yep. He's built 2 successful sides and there's still time for the 3rd to be successful too. You have to question Conway 11 because he only ever turns up to criticise the Club and Goodwin.

The thing that concerns me most about Saturday was the lack of fight, 3 nil down at home and Falkirk looked the most likley to score next, I was surprised at the time they never got a fourth. A total throwback to the last relegation season, the post split games at Tannadice against Klliie and County that still give me nightmares. That just didn't happen to us last year and I'm hoping Graham can come back in and get that sorted.
Online!

That back three gives me the shivers, they're eachl as bad as each other.
I can only think we got away with them up to a few weeks ago but are getting found out now, no way that's a good defence.
Miller's goal on Saturday wasn't defended, he waltzed past them. One of them threw his arm in the air as if to say to the other you get him, I've lost him.
That goal at Killie, the guy had the freedom of the park to fire them ahead, they watched him shoot.
Last season we would have had two blocks on that shot. Gallagher & Holt got us 4th last season, wish we still had them.
I don't know what sort of defending they've been doing in their previous seasons abroad but it's not working here.
We do have alternatives, SCH and Graham are available. Had they been playing on Saturday two of the goals would not have been scored.
Another turgid performance on Saturday at Killie will give Jim no option but to change it.
The back three are pish.
