Fast forward to 1 hour and 19 minutes.
On Open Goal this week, and fair fucks to him, he openly admits he was shite at United and that he was an immature wee arsehole who’d bite back at fans and act the cunt on social media. He genuinely is embarrassed by the way that he acted at United and admits he fully deserved all the shite he got off the fans.
I absolutely hated the boy for the way he played and acted when he was here, but he’s obviously grown up a lot since then. Not many players will admit as openly and honestly as he did there that they were the problem without any bitterness at all.
Never thought I’d say this, but I actually dinna really have a problem with Coll Donaldson anymore.

Thought the same when I listened to it, one of the best eps they’ve ever had.

Thanks for posting JD. Listened for about 20 mins from 1hr 19 and fair play to him, much easier for him to turnaround and say the club and the fans were absolute c****s to him. Takes a man to put your hands up and take some responsibility.
Actually think there's a lesson in there for some of our supporters in the bit where he says there was nights he couldn't sleep because his confidence was shot to pieces. I felt really sorry for him listening to that and makes me think of some of the personal abuse in recent times I've heard shouted from our support at players who, whilst not playing well or not good enough, usual are trying their best.
Good evidence in there that jeering and abuse of younger players in particular doesn't help and can effect them off the pitch.

Thanks for watching so we don't have to JD 😀
In all my years going to Tannadice I have never abused a player, never ever, not under any circumstances. How does that help the team, how does that help the player. It doesn't. It probably helps the opposition.
It maybe also helps the abuser to feel better about himself, a very dubious motive for it.

I think it all started really when he was laughing and joking with Hibs players after they just beat us in a penalty shoot-out at Hampden, before that I would say most United fans didn't think much of him as a player but he wasn't getting abuse. A total fanny being interviewed by even bigger fannies but fair play to him if he's said those things.

Aye his arrogance and attitude for someone that shite done him no favours. I mind Cammy Bell on xmas eve against St Mirren almost broke a clean sheet record of 7 games and 35 minutes or something. Donaldson comes off the bench for someone injured and makes a mistake just a few mins before the record was broken. That summed up his time at tannadice.
After he left he made himself look like a right tit with him and brother on social media.

I remember that game, in fairness Donaldson was just on and Paul Dixon inexplicably threw the ball right across the park at about waist height at him. Jamie Robson played all the other games in that run and Dixon come in and played and was pretty crap.

If memory serves me right, I think the ball was thrown to him and he wasn't in the greatest position to receive it, or a forward was too close, yes he fucked up, but I was happy enough that Cammy Bell never achieved the shutout record, that continues to be held by Hamish, which was achieved in a proper league.

Don't know what it is - still find him a twat.
... In fact I find the whole lot of them a bunch of twat's.
- Must be getting old.
