SCH

Like others have said I thought he was very good yesterday and deserved MOM.
Looks like we have a player there.

Re: SCH

Agree. But especially second half aberdeen were just hoofing balls into the box which made it easier for him. Would love it if him and Graham were good enough next season to form our defence.

Re: SCH

SCH was brilliant yesterday and on Wednesday.

His snapshot on the edge of the box was absolute quality

We should be getting him signed up on a long contract and make him our main man for the next few years

I hope Ross G is also getting well rested up for next season

Agreed 100%. We might have something special on our hands here.
Was Jim right in keeping him back the last few weeks or should he have come in when Holt departed?

Re: SCH

Early days, very early days, but seeing him at Ibrox and yesterday it struck me that there's just a touch of the David Narey about this boy.

Before I get slaughtered I'm not comparing him to Narey but the way he carries himself, the quiet confidence and the apparent effortless way he works is a bit reminiscent.

This season has told us that experience at CB is vital so we will need to add in that position especially with Gallagher away. But with Ross Graham and Sam Harding we seem to have brought two gems through for the future.

Re: SCH

Looks a very good prospect.

Just hope he doesn't depart to a Norwich or the like in the Summer for an 'undisclosed fee.

Would love us to get back too seeing these type of boys play 100+ games for the club and then move on to bigger things once they're ready.

Re: SCH

Was very good yesterday, think he’ll be an important member of the squad next season.  How long a contract do we have him on?

No chance that happens, he’s a proper diehard Arab, who used to run United fan pages on social media and who’s Dad’s a well known United casual. He’s literally living his and every single one of our childhood dreams, I think we’re safe with this one, for a wee while anyway.

Imagine how mental that must feel for his old man sitting in the East Stand watching his boy pull on the jersey every week. Must be bursting with pride and an absolute bag of nerves in equal measure. Literally the dream we all had growing up and probably the wish we’d all have for our own sons, and he’s actually living that.

That is my hope JD, that him being a diehard United supporter himself makes him uninterested in moving anytime soon.

Be good to have him and big Ross Graham at the back for a few years, and hopefully Owen Stirton in the team at points next season. Three big United supporters.

Second that.  I thought both him and Gallacher were excellent on Saturday after a poor start.  Both settled into the game well, but SCH is going to be a real threat at the top end too.  His footwork to create the shot and the quality of the hit were top notch.  OK straight at the keeper, but on a different day that's deflected and unstoppable.

I was pretty much of the view that Declan's time was up, and I can see his limitations in terms of pace and looking to play differently (also an issue for Graham to be fair) but he really helped SCH through the games he has played and I do think we need to have a rethink unless we are bringing in an experienced defender who can fill that 'coaching' role (again Graham is not there yet either).  I do wonder if Goodwin will look to bring in Gogic again as he would fit the bill.  Under contract though.  I'd give Declan another year - but he's maybe looking for more.

Re: SCH

Gallagher has missed a few games, and has apparently been taking pain killing injections to play.

As admirable as that might seem, ultimately, the fact he's never 100% recovered from the groin? injury has maybe went against him?

"Don't F*cking ever offer me that again!"
