St Mirren v United

Wednesday night on BT sport.

They'll be up for It after their big win yesterday.

we desperately need a win to keep up the fight for 2nd and with this then Motherwell before the semi, 2 wins would be great prep for Hampden.

Predictions, boys?

What will the result be on Wednesday

Re: St Mirren v United

St Mirren, apart fae Goodwin,  try to play futba.

We're better than them. Score 1st and it'll be a comfortable victory I reckon

Re: St Mirren v United

Tough game i think.

St.Mirren have picked up since they appointed Gary Teale as Caretaker Manager.I'm hoping after our win v Accies we can kick on a bit and start putting a run of wins together. And i think we will, maybe 2-1.

I would go with ....

....................Czierniak.......................
Spittal....Dillon...Fojut.......Townsend
.............Paton....Butcher...............
Connolly.......Telfer.....Armstrong......
.......................Ciftci..........................

Subs -

Szromnik
Watson
Anier
GMS
Rankin
Dow
Erskine

How's the weather?  Any danger of the gemme being called off?

Re: St Mirren v United

Expecting a difficult game, what I think we've got in our favour is that St Mirren try to play football, which opens up space for us.

No idea if Morris is fit again, is so I'd go with:

....................Czierniak.......................
Dillon....Morris...Fojut.......Townsend
.......................Butcher......................
........................Telfer.......................

Connolly.......Armstrong.....Erskine
.......................Ciftci..........................

If Morris isn't fit I'd go with Dillon at CB and Watson at RB.

United to win 1-3.

Re: St Mirren v United

Think I've been slightly negative voting for a draw here

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah

There's been no snow or rain or anything since Friday so everything should be fine mate.

It is bloody cold though.

Re: St Mirren v United

St.Mirren haven't beat us in Paisley since the year 2000 and of course NEVER at their new ground.

Some record.

Would take any kind of win tonight but being honest we should be beating them by 2 or 3.They're a poor team made up of journeymen.Only player of there's i'd take is Kenny McLean (and maybe Marian Kello).

We are streets ahead and these are the type of games we must win if we have any ambitions on 2nd.

TEK they stuffed us 4-1 on Boxing Day last year in Paisley. Watson got sent off.

It sure is mate. I remember when St Midden used to be our bogey team in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Re: St Mirren v United

Utter shite performance so far. Need Morris back bigtime.

Need Armstrong to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. Doesn't do that though does he?

Re: St Mirren v United

Absolute shite. You know if we had any decent defenders I'd have Fojut dropped. He's been fucking garbage in the last 2-3 away games. Paton and Rankin looked much better last week at Hamilton... On the bench.
