Partnership with the Fairmont Hotel
Really exciting news, the club have agreed a partnership with the Fairmont hotel, which is genuinely one of the most premium brands in Scotland and can only enhance the club's standing.
I'm not sure of the deal specifics but I would imagine it will include free pre-match accomodation for the players before home games, which will make a world of difference for good preparation. A good sleep, no distractions, no travelling, and a really good breakfast. I'd like to think there will be some good deals for fans too, with substantial discounts.
I'm hopeful the hotel will offer reduced tickets/free travel to United games for hotel guests. I don't imagine it'll attract hundreds but a lot of holidaymakers, especially families, like to take in a match when they are abroad. I reckon we could get a few Americans/Aussies etc into the stadium.
Well done Luigi, Joe and team. This is superb news.

Reduced tickets and free travel for United matches for folk staying in a 5 star hotel, yeah I'm thrilled right enough.

You are correct AU in pointing out that the Fairmont is a well respected brand which no doubt will benefit United in terms of having an outstanding venue for any investors or corporate days that the club wish to run.
I doubt though we will see bus loads of Japanese and Americans heading towards Tannadice 😉, what we may see though could be a offering particularly in the winter for match day hospitality at the football. This would be an alternative in the winter for the Hotel when the golf is weather dependent.

It’s just for hosting golf events etc, and likely used for schmoozing, using a conference room now & again.
And it’s all image, which is important in a way I suppose

Our business development/marketing team seems to be doing an amazing job and to be fair deserve tremendous credit for it. I've never known the club to have so many main sponsors and business partnerships. Plus there's hardly a day goes by without a merchandise offer on email.
Surely must be a key driver in making the finances sustainable.
