I totally forgot United had played in the tournament (in some form).

Sorry Arab 99 I've an issue about the lack of non-1st team football in the SPFL.
It barely exists now in the eyes of us, the fans.
In days gone by I was able to watch the 'reserves' 10 or 12 times a season at Tannadice.
These young guys are bursting a gut to get games of football.
How many games are they actually getting, it seems no better than one a month on a Tuesday afternoon at some plastic pitch or training ground in the west.
It's not good & needs looked at urgently.
Young pro footballers who can't get a game
They should be playing twice a week in an organised structure at times that suit us, the fans.

I must admit I think the same. It would be interesting to know if any more players come through the ranks to the first team through the academy than did in previous years before the academy’s.

We better get Stirton tied down on a long term contract if he isn’t already.
If he keeps on like this he will be away in the summer for peanuts if we don’t.

Can see him going to a Norwich or Fulham in July for an 'undisclosed fee'.
Hope I'm wrong.

That is good news and for once looks like the club have done well with our young players contract. Still, just like TEK says above, if he keeps scoring like this he will be off to a wee English team before long for very little.

Lewis O'Donnell was a 28th minute substitute for QotS, but it was another day to forget in a poor season for 'The Doonhamers' as they lost 0-1 at home to Kelty Hearts, for whom Ruairidh Adams kept a clean sheet in goals. A big win for The Fifers. Both clubs languish middle table, a few points outside the play-off spots. They are running out of time to break into that top 4.

Too many of our loanees not starting games at a lower level. I get that clubs need to look to their own players, but some of these boys, if they are any use, should be looking to be first name on the teamsheet!

Couldn't get a game for United, can't get a game for Livingston.

Trying very hard to impress in what looked like an unfamiliar false 9 position. Twice opted to shoot and miss when team mates well placed to continue the move.
Will be interesting to see when he next starts.
