I never seen it at the time but every one around me.was adamant it was a penalty.
Think he’s possibly offside in build up 🤔

Surprised if Ferry is with us next season. Not surprised if he’s not next month.
Only player we have been rumoured to sign this window is a Left Back.
I think if any player is sold this window it will be Ferry. Let's hope he is still here on February 1st.

Stephen Thompson looks at this in disgust. Many do that when we can sell the prized assests?

Good to hear. I’d only loan out Meshack and Stirton.
10 games left until the split, if we can pick up 15pts we have a great chance of the top 6 and close to Europe before the last 5 games (St Mirren got 5th last season on 47pts and Dundee got 6th on 42 pts, we’d have 52pts).
If we only bring in 1 player, it must be a winger/striker with pace to play off big Sam.

From highlights the keeper gets a touch of the ball. Good save to be fair.

When Iacovitti got booked the second time I'm thinking that's fine we're now playing against 10 men. Apparently not. Anyone else see that.

Another rollercoaster of a game which had everything that we expect following our great club.
We NEVER do things the easy way and I suppose that's what makes it so special when we eventually get it right.
I didn't think it worked first half with Middleton up top and I would have had Graham starting instead of Holt. The big lad Msndron for me got a good bit of success pealing off and playing on Holt.
Stephenson was in the right place at the right time and made some great tackles, blocks and a goal line clearance.
We managed to get to half time and with our current squad it just feels like that the warm up done, and the game really starts on the restart for the second half.
Some great goalkeeping from them and poor composure and finishing prevented us going ahead.
Walton who was our best player in the first half made a brilliant one on one save when we were all waiting on the bet bulging.
Up steps Mr Made of chocolate himself after an injection to make him fit to play with an overhead kick, took the fuckin roof off the place, it was madness for a good two or three minutes. The young ones say 'scenes' but that moment the connection was there for all to see.
Typically for us we gave away a stupid penalty, Holt is out of position and dangles out a leg and the ref just couldn't wait to point his finger to the spot. SJWIG though was there again to save the day.
The scenes at the final whistle are what will see us grab a top six spot, that connection and feeling of being together is something money can't buy.
Onwards and upwards.

Yes! Was watching on DUTV and they said he got booked. It was definitely him that made the challenge anyway. United’s twitter said it was him that got booked as well so expected him to be sent off second half when he got another booking.

I wonder if the panel will mention that in their next roundup of refereeing and Var fuck ups 🙁

It wasn't that obvious on DUTV but watched a St Mirren fan vlog today and you could see the bedlam and hear the noise in the United end. Guy says "some support".
Regarding what you said about the first half as warm up thing we need to change that occasionally so that opposing coaches don't set their teams up accordingly. Eg just for once blow away an opponent in the first half.
Scoring a late winner can't be relied upon every week.

Completely concur about doing things a bit easier and getting ahead earlier it not good for the old heart.
When the goal went in there were folk running from all angles to get to the players,.some on the pitch some over the wall in-between the advertising boards, stewards Completely outnumbered, one of the stewards lost his hat which was getting thrown about.
At the other corner flag the wee neds in the St Mirren support were playing the hold me back game😀.
All of this whilst Louis Moult was conducting the rest of us to our version of the Spandau ballet classic.
Happy days.

More time to comment on the game. Thought St Mirren weren't too bad. Definitely went for us first half and thought they were actually one of the better teams we have faced this season. They were better than the last visit to the SMISA when we deserved the 1-0 win. This time we were marginally the better team at the end and couldn't have complained if it ended all square. We have some spirit though and another team loses out to our incredible will to win.
Walton - great pen save and a couple of other good stops too (especially the one on one), but a couple he could have done better with for me. So good to have a competent keeper though.
Manny - good game, but think a couple of times he and Strain failed to pass on their men adequately and a better team would have used the space better.
Stain - see above, otherwise another good game.
Holt - another immense 90 minutes. Some engine.
Ferry - seen him more effective going forward but defended really well.
Gallagher - good game. Assured and competed well against a pretty big St Mirren set piece attack. He and whole defence used the ball very well and St Mirren's pressing whilst high at points didn't really cause us much issues. Was a get out of jail free card from Luca with the goal line clearance though.
Stephenson - see goal line clearance - otherwise battled well without creating too much. Gives 100% and you can see why he starts most games.
Sevelj - quiet game by his recent standards but a lot of hard work which goes unnoticed as usual.
Docherty - probably his best game in the top league. Like his fellow midfielders put in a power of work but was probably the best at using the ball of the three. Always looking for the ball and rarely misplaced a pass.
Middleton - thought he was excellent. Held the ball up well and tried to push forward where he could. Back to his best!
Dalby - tough game for Sam today but worked like a Trojan and caused their CHs trouble throughout.
Moult - couple of nice touches, but bar the goal didn't do too much. Some goal though.
vdS - another nuisance performance, but we seem to score when he's on the pitch.
Goodwin - difficult to do anything other than praise him, but surprised we only made two subbies given how much football the boys have played. Sevelj rightly looked out on his feet by the end. Surprised he didn't get swapped out for Odada towards the end.

I see that there was a tv camera behind the goal where they went to at the St Mirrent penalty incident (On the highlights) but not at our end which would've shown if Gallagher did flick the ball on at our chopped off goal, or give a clearer view of the Dalby penalty incident.
Curious.

Had a very clear view of the disallowed goal. Didn't even celebrate. New immediately it was offside. Gallagher got a touch. On the Dalby penalty I was convinced it was a pen at the time, but I think the highlights show the keeper must have got a touch.

That'll explain it then! To be fair i thought I saw him on the pitch at half time and full time but see he wasn't on the team lines.
