Re: Dundee United V's ICT - Saturday 17th January 3pm

Would hope any potential new signings would appreciate that a previous player had ambitions that were not fulfilled and that his plan B may not have pleased everyone at his present club.

Would also hope GMS maintains his present form for his present employer.

Would be interested to see his level of performance for his present employer against his future employer.

FWIW, I actually think he would implode, starting at his arsehole.

Two important points here if gms gets the attention of the george fox boo boys how is that going to make the club look to potential new signings remember the vast majority of players who come to tannadice see utd as stepping stone to bigger things(wages)  secondly gms will not want to go to celtic with a poor run of form in the second part of the season, he is a minor signing for celtic so very easy for delia to make a squad player

1st point is critical imo for that reason and im glad im not alone in thinking this. C'mon my fellow arabians lets look at the bigger picture please

He'll be gone by then imo (and i hope he is).

We can win anyway.

Ciftci,Anier,Connolly,Armstrong,Dow,Erskine

6 players who can cause them big problems.

Might even have the forgotten man Bilate back by then.

Re: Dundee United V's ICT - Saturday 17th January 3pm

Pitch inspection requested at Tannadice, don't know if the request is from ICT or SPFL.

0945 confirmed for inspection, obviously before Inverness head off.

Worried its early and might be unplayable right now.

Undersoil heating has been (is) on.

For those looking in from outside Dundee it's certainly not the conditions you would expect a game to be called off for unless the pitch has been neglected.

Goal mouth frozen. United reckon it would have cleared but ref called it off anyway. Undersoil heating is great but doesn't help when the pitch is shite anyway

Re: Dundee United V's ICT - Saturday 17th January 3pm

Embarrasing stuff tbh.

Accies game ON and there was about 2 inches of snow or more on their pitch just last night.

Couldn't have picked a worse weekend to have a call off either.

Aberdeen will probably go 8 above us.

Celtic 4 points above.

Pish.

Re: Dundee United V's ICT - Saturday 17th January 3pm

Looking at Spencey's photo in Twitter, it does appear to be a pretty deep frost in the goalmouth. I was gutted when I heard the news but it looks the right decision when you see it. It may well have cleared before kick off but if it hadn't the ref would have been hammered.

The stadium manager was just on the radio there as well. Heating's been on since Thursday but didn't have any affect on areas that weren't covered in grass.

Also said that as a goodwill gesture, it will be a fiver to get into the rearranged game. Which is fantastic. Not many clubs would do that under no obligation.

Re: Dundee United V's ICT - Saturday 17th January 3pm

Bugger it! I have always questioned why the players and keepers are allowed to practice shooting before games into the goals as it churns up the area! Surely we could wheel out a couple of goals for this to be done elsewhere??

Fucking pathetic from United. will struggle to make the re-arranged game now due to working midweek, 15 quid wasted.
