Probably money issues, everyone knows we have a couple of bob in the bank now

I think Anier is going to be a really good signing for us.

Re: Henri Anier

Last updated at 10:16 Dundee United: Striker Henri Anier agrees to sign   By Jim Spence BBC Sport  Former Motherwell striker Henri Anier is likely to sign for Dundee United in time to be in the squad for the home game against Inverness on Saturday. The Estonian, capped 21 times by his country, has agreed to a move to Tannadice and will now travel from Tallinn to complete the move.Motherwell sold Anier, 24, to German second-tier club Erzgebirge Aue for an undisclosed fee in June. But the Saxony outfit sit bottom of the table, two points adrift of St Pauli.Anier scored nine goals in 40 appearances for the Steelmen after moving to Fir Park, initially on loan in the summer of 2013 from Viking. The Estonia international made the move from Norway permanent in January.

We don't give a damn what the others say
We'll cheer on United all the way
For we are the Terrors of Tannadice

Interesting that Jackie says "He had better offers financially, but likes what the Club is doing currently".

Re: Henri Anier

Essential back-up to a barren area.

At worst Shifty goes up a gear, and at best his hammy's are sound.

Re: Henri Anier

Good age to get him? Coming to maturity as a striker hopefully. Think he will be a good signing.

Though someone was signing today?

Henri said, “I am delighted to be a Dundee United player. I enjoyed my previous spell in Scottish football with Motherwell and I remember the United fans as passionate and colourful. I have watched the way United play – it’s attractive, exciting and many chances are created.

“Although I had other teams interested, once I had spoken to Jackie McNamara about his plans for United, it became the obvious choice. I cannot wait to wear the tangerine jersey and score goals at this Club.”

Like that any player mentions the fans especially in the first words of reasons for signing!

OK, Countdown conundrum, can anyone find a new nickname in his name? The stopwatch is ticking but the Tekelist handle wins

If it's a Countdown conundrum he could be Grace Kelly's brither-in-la'.
