Jack Newman kept a clean sheet in goals for Inverness Caley Thistle as they defeated Bonnyrigg Rose 3-0 at home. This was Duncan Ferguson's mens first win of the season and keeps alive their hope of qualifying out of the League Cup group stages.

Ruairidh Adams kept a clean sheet in goals for Kelty Hearts in their very impressive shock 1-0 home win against Premiership, Hibernian. The Fifers who play two divisions below the men from Leith can qualify from the group stages as winners or runners-up if they win their remaining two matches.

Jack Newman played the full 90 in goals for ICT in their opening League One match of the season, a 1-1 draw at home to Dumbarton.

In the same division, Ruairidh Adams also played the full 90 minutes in goals for Kelty Hearts. Who also drew their opening league game of the season 1-1. This time away to Montrose.

In the Lowland League, Bryan Mwangi came off the bench on the 64th minute to make his debut for Broxburn Athletic. But it was a very disappointing afternoon for the West Lothian side as they lost heavily, 6-2 away to Linlithgow Rose.

In Scottish League One, Jack Newman played the full 90 minutes for Inverness Caley Thistle in their 1-0 loss away to Annan Athletic.

In the same division. Ruarirdh Adams also played the full 90 for Kelty Hearts in their 2-0 home win versus Stenhousmuir.

In the Scottish Lowland League, Bryan Mwangi started for Broxburn Athletic in their fine 3-0 home win against Cumbernauld Colts. He set up the first goal. Broxburn move up to 6th in what is a very competitive league.

Earlier on today (Sunday 18/8/24) Tony Watt was a 58th minute substitute for Motherwell in their 1-0 home win against Kilmarnock in the Premier Sports League Cup 2nd Round.

Yesterday (Saturday 17/8/24) in Scottish League One, Jack Newman was a notable omission from the Inverness 1st team squad. Presumably injured.

Also in League One, fresh from keeping a clean sheet for Utd's B Team in their midweek Cup win versus Dundee B, Rauiridh Adams again kept a clean sheet in Kelty Hearts fine 0-3 away win at Arbroath. The win saw Jim McIntyre sacked as Arbroath Manager after a terrible start to the season see's the men from the East Coast bottom of the division. Conversely their opponents on Saturday (Kelty) are currently top of League One.

And lastly for this weekend on Saturday (17/8/24) Bryan Mwangi won MotM for Broxburn Athletic as they beat Ardrossan Winton Rovers 4-3 in the 1st Round of the (wait for this) Carmat King's South Challenge Cup.

Get this, despite playing for us in the group stages, things reset, so Watt was then eligible to play for Well.

But, we had to make do without Sevelj, because of the totting up procedure, against a team that's had the advantage of sitting out these games.

Another shitey set of rules in the cup they made a cunt of.

Last night (Tuesday 20/8/24) in the Scottish Lowland League, Bryan Mwangi scored the opening goal for Broxburn Athletic in their 3-0 home win versus Gala Fairydean. The West Lothian side remain 6th in the table.

Lewis O'Donnell to QOS is a strange one, 19 now, if he is as good as we hear he should be going to a higher club than that. How many times has he actually played a comitative game for us ?

I wonder if he's going there full time. I think more senior clubs sometime like to keep their younger players training with them during the week so they can input to their development. O'Donnell was in L1 last year and a move to Queens is sideways at best. Maybe there a guarantee of more game time than there would be in a champ team.

Earlier on this afternoon (Saturday 24/8) in Scottish League One, Ruairidh Adams kept yet another clean sheet for Kelty Hearts. This time in a 0-0 draw against ICT. Jack Newman was again injured and unavailable for the Highlanders. Kelty remain top of the table despite the draw.

Also in League One, Lewis O'Donnell made his debut for QotS coming off the bench on the 60th minute. But it was a disappointing day all round as the men from Dumfries lost 1-0 away to Montrose and O'Donnell was forced off through injury on the 88th minute.

Earlier on this afternoon (Sunday 25/8) in the Scottish Premiership, Tony Watt was a 51st minute substitute for Motherwell who defeated Hearts 3-1 to move up to 6th in the table. Hearts remain 10th on just one point.

Tony Watt was a 52nd minute substitute for Motherwell as they won 2-1 away at St.Johnstone. The Steelmen move up to 4th, temporarily at least.

Ruairidh Adams played the full 90 for Kelty Hearts who drew 2-2 away to Dumbarton. Former Utd Defender, Mark Durnan notching both Dumbarton's goals. Kelty remain top of what is a very competitive division, but now just on goal difference.

Yesterday (Saturday 14/9) in the Scottish Premiership. Tony Watt was a 2nd half substitute for Motherwell and helped set-up their only goal of the game at Pittodrie, but it wasn't enough as 'Well went down 2-1 to Aberdeen.

Ruairidh Adams and debutant Sam Cleall-Harding both played the full 90 minutes for Kelty Hearts, but it was a poor afternoon for the Fifers who went down 3-1 at home to Cove Rangers. Michael Tidser's men go down to 3rd in the table.

Overtaking them into 2nd place in the league is QotS for whom Lewis O'Donnell played the first 83 minutes of their 2-1 home win versus Arbroath.

Bryan Mwangi was a late substitution (89th minute) for Broxburn Athletic who continues their good start to the season with a convincing 0-4 win away at Dalkeith Thistle.

Yesterday afternoon (Saturday 28/9) -

In the Scottish Premiership - Tony Watt was a 71st minute substitute for Motherwell who leapfrogged Utd into 4th in the table after they defeated St.Mirren 2-1. The Steelmen are in a great run of form with 5 wins in their last 6 matches.

In Scottish League One -

Jack Newman was an unused sub for Inverness who drew 0-0 at home to Stenhousemuir.

Ruairidh Adams and Sam Cleall-Harding both kept a clean sheet for Kelty Hearts who registered a 3-0 home win versus Annan Athletic. The win takes the Fifers up to 4th and back into the Play-Off places.

Top of League One are Queen of the South for whom Lewis O'Donnell played the full 90 minutes for in their 2-0 home success against Dumbarton. O'Donnell scored their first goal in the 14th minute, a right footed shot into the corner of the net.

In the Scottish Cup 1st Round -

Adam Carnwath made his debut for Cumbernauld Colts, coming off the bench on the 65th minute with his team already 0-3 down at home to Civil Service Strollers, and that's how the match would finish. A disappointing day at the office for David Proctor's men as they exit the Scottish Cup rather meekly at the first hurdle against their fellow Lowland League rivals.

In the Scottish Lowland League -

On Tuesday (1/10) Bryan Mwangi started on the bench for Broxburn Athletic as they drew 1-1 away to League leaders Caledonian Braves at Alliance Park on the grounds of Strathclyde Park. There was no info on either Broxburn's official site or their X account as to whether Mwangi featured, but reading the match report he wasn't mentioned at any stage, so it seems he didn't. Looks like he has dropped out of their side in recent times.

Broxburn sit 5th in the Lowland League.

Last night on (Wed 2/10) both Sean Borland and Adam Carnwath featured for Cumbernauld Colts, the former replacing the latter from the bench on the 69th minute away to East Stirling.

But it was a bad, bad night for both and the Colts as they went down to a heavy 5-0 defeat against the team currently sitting bottom of the table.

Cumbernauld sit 13th out of 18th.

In the Scottish Premiership - Tony Watt was a 62nd minute substitute for Motherwell who won 2-1 at Easter Road against Hibs. The Steelmen remain 4th in the table.

In Scottish League One -

Jack Newman was again an unused substitute for Inverness who lost 1-0 away to Arbroath.

Ruairidh Adams and Sam Cleall-Harding both started for Kelty Hearts who rocked the league leaders Queen of the South by thumping them 5-1 at Palmerston. Cleall-Harding scored Kelty's 4th goal of the afternoon, his first ever goal in professional football. He was later subbed off in the 73rd minute, presumably precautionary as he was on a yellow card. This result takes the Fifers to the top of the table, overtaking Queen's as a result, for whom Lewis O'Donnell played the full 90 minutes of a deeply disappointing afternoon.

In the Scottish Lowland League -

Sean Borland and Adam Carnwath both played 90 minutes for Cumbernauld Colts (the latter subbed off in injury time), who battled to a 1-1 draw at home to Albion Rovers, despite being down to 10 men after 30 minutes and then playing the final 15 minutes with only 9 men. A valuable point on the board for David Proctor's men.

Bryan Mwangi was a 62nd minute substitute for Broxburn Athletic who thumped East Stirling 5-0 at home. Mwangi himself scored Broxburn's final goal of the match with a nice solo run into the box and a rifled finish into the roof of the net. The men from West Lothian are 4th in the highly competitive 18 team league.

Ruairidh Adamson played the full 90 for Kelty Hearts who lost 2-1 away to Dunfermline in a Fife Derby. Sam Cleall-Harding wasn't in the Kelty squad (presumably injured).

In the Scottish Lowland League -

Bryan Mwangi played the first 66 minutes for Broxburn Athletic away to Bo'ness United. It was a surprising off-night for Broxburn in front of goal as they drew 0-0.

Sean Borland started for Cumbernauld Colts and seemed to play the entire match but it was yet another disappointing night as the men from North Lanarkshire went down 4-1 at home to Civil Service Strollers. Adam Carnwath was a noticeable omission from the Colts squad, presumably sick or injured.
