It’s all gone quiet about the rumoured Take Over / Investment in the club. Anyone got any news on this?

The cynic in me says it will be quiet until season ticket renewal time.
Tbf thought, we've done a lot of good business - identified the positions we need and went our and got the players - keep doing that and we are in good shape

Spoke to one of the directors the night we won the league against Partick, and he said the Brentford thing is a lot of rubbish.
I thought at the time he might’ve just been playing the cards close to the chest, but it’s not materialised or had even the slightest whisper of it happening since, so there you go.

Not sure it's a load of rubbish. I've seen Matthew Bentham (Brentford owner) inside Tannadice with my own eyes. It may well be dead in the water now, but there were definitely discussions taking place. I'm led to believe Brighton were more likely anyway.

You wonder why the Utd shareholders agreed to diluting their share price and essentially strengthening Ogren's hold over the club in that case.
Thought the whole point was because it was to appease incoming investors.
