Re: 24/25 Fixtures

Not really looked past Derby games (not you STJ) and Sheeple. Hopefully we keep the 6pm’s against Aberdeen or Premier Sports take it for 5:30, but only the away games.

Re: 24/25 Fixtures

Dread the Derbies (they make me ill with stress). Wouldn't have wanted a Derby as first game of the season, a lot of pressure on the players and Goodwin immediately.

We were also just a few days away from the milestone of 20 years since Dundee last won at Tannadice. That amplifies the pressure on the players now to keep that stat going.

Other than that game it's not a bad start to the league season where hopefully we can get a few points on the board early.

Re: 24/25 Fixtures

Might be a good time to get them. All their loan “stars” are gone and will be rebuilding a new team.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Anyone any idea where the game is today and time?

Re: 24/25 Fixtures

Just had a feeling we'd get the FUN on the opening day; hopefully we keep the Shed.  In fact, hopefully we only give them the Fair Play.

Re: 24/25 Fixtures

Was going to make a new thread for this but I suppose fixtures/ TV rights is close enough these days.

An interesting story from the USA today as the Dallas Stars of the NHL announced that they intend to air their games for free in their "local" area and will likely lose millions as a result in an attempt to grow their stature and supporter base after a series of poor quality TV partnerships in recent years.

With quite a few American owners in the Scottish league, and increasing numbers of fans turning to IPTV due to Scottish football requiring multiple subscriptions, I do wonder if they will be keeping an eye on how this goes.
