I think we might be too.
If i was Cudjoe i would just sign a new deal offered, even if it is the same money.
He will only get less elsewhere anyway, unless he signs for another Premiership side (doubtful).
Sign a new 2 year deal and maybe send him on loan till January, somewhere he'll play every week. A good Championship side like Ayr or Dunfermline.

Miller Thomson set to sign a 3 year deal according to the local rag.

Happy with Miller staying.

3 year deal, not much a fan of that. Hopefully he really kicks on now.

I'm the opposite tbh.
Delighted with a 3 year deal. He's had a good half season playing in a position he's not used to. How often have we seen players kick on from this with 12 months on their contract and leave for a pittance.
He won't be a top wage and offers us a bit of protection incase he has an outstanding season.

I see the club piece on him referred to him as a full back.

I wish some of the young lads would bulk out a bit, you've got to spend an awful lot of time in the gym but I don't think many are. Silly cos there's money to be made.

Do you mean more muscular or heavier? I know for football they're looking for a player around 1.86 to be about 90KG.

At that height, even lighter, maybe 85kg. If you look a Rio Ferdinand, I think he is about 192cm and not much over 82kg. I think we do have an issue with height (or lack of) with many of our up and coming youngsters. With CBs you need someone who is fast and tall.

Typically Scots boys are wee sh!tes.
Something to do with being subjugated over 300 years ago.

Cole Palmer, Phil Foden you'd prob tell them to bulk up.
Antony Gorden actually openly states he dosnt do weights as he thinks if he gets bigger he will lose speed/Agility

aye fair enough, should have said that was top end. Anyway follow a bit rugby too and there’s a 20s boy whos about 6,5 and 130 kg, would that do?

Wasn't advocating fat footballers. Height comes into it as well. But supposing our U/18s were playing, say, Everton's U/18, you'd know which team was which without the colour of strips.
I know you can't do anything about your height but I stick by my assertion that our boys need to muscle-up more & spend much more time in the gym.

I'm happy to let the S & C boys do their job.

We've been the least pish in a pish league. We've lost cup ties to teams 1 and 2 leagues below us. Our football has at times been turgid. The squad we've currently got is miles off staying up next season. Our owner is a basket case and our manager has managed to get a squad of very average players (built with easily the largest budget in the league) to the top of the league (potentially only by goal difference).
However the revisionists are feeling all warm and fuzzy because we are back in the big time. There is a lot of work to do in the close season to build a squad for the next level. Is Goodwin the man to do that? That might not matter if Ogren is still in charge, but in any case I think the answer is no. However, if it is still Ogren then we'd be as well sticking with him as I would have absolutely no trust in Ogren finding anyone in his price range that would be any better (and probably worse).
Still a great time to be an Arab...100% agree
Regarding the points on the previous page - we have limped over. It has taken until the second last game of the season to be officially winners. The football style is horrible which sets the standard for next season. If we can't blow teams away with the squad we have in this tinpot league - imagine what we will be like on an even keel (maybe) next season? Keeping him is just delaying the inevitiable, he will be sacked in the first 6 months of next season if he stays - he has scottish capped players in this squad and they have looked like dug meat in some games this season. Just a few weeks ago he was schooled by McPake FFS. Now we are close to the end of the season and we look like winners it has clouded boys judgement a bit. On the whole this season has been a slog. With some embarrassing losses. We will not be playing Arbroath/Queens Park next season and sadly he will be found out. Get rid now and lets start a fresh.
I would like to hold my hands up and change this - not in the first 6 months he will be sacked, i'll change it to 6 weeks. Get the absolute fraud out now.
