Jupp Heinkes (sp) was Borussia Monchengladbach Manager in the 80's I think he managed both times we played them*
Ulie Steilike was a player for Neucatel Xamax, who played v us, not sure if he won the world cup with West Germany.
*I only know this, because we were in Munich in March and I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking back on european games.

We played Bayern Munich in a friendly after winning the cup in 1994, Trapatoni was their manager, not sure if he's ever won the world cup.

Uli Stielike never managed against us, and never won the World Cup with Germany anyway (runner-up).
Did have one hell of a career though.

Trapattoni won absolutely everything you can win in football.
Apart from the World Cup .

Tannadice friendly in the Summer of 1980.
Chelsea managed by Geoff Hurst.
Two future Utd players in the Chelsea side and one former Chelsea player in ours.
