Remember as a very impressionable 15yr old watching this in my bedroom on my wee portable telly and being absolutely blown away.
Felt like a band i could be in with my mates.Had similiar haircuts, clobber as us,and were strikingly working class.Whereas somebody like Suede (who i actually like now) just felt like London art school type wankers, who i couldnae relate too at aw.

Only managed to see them once, at the Etihad or whatever it was called then in 2005/6.

Saw them in Edinburgh in 1995. They were pretty good. Great 1st album. Deffo in my top 10. 2nd album was decent to.
Quickly disappeared up their own arse and nose

Loved them back in the day. Remember seeing the Live Forever video on the Chart Show on ITV. It was the first time I'd heard Oasis and was totally floored by it. Got the 3 disc reissue of Definately Maybe a few months ago. Fantastic. Need to have a look on Youtube for the "Live by the Sea" video. Its a shame they turned out to be a bit of a one trick pony. They were never the same after McCarroll, Bonehead and Guigsy left. They lost the rawness of their sound. Part of their charm was the fact that 3 of them couldn't play all that well.

Been to see them 7 times. How Britain needed them after the dance pish we were subjected to at the time!
Remember Definitely Maybe coming out and I went and bought it and went straight home to play it. I actually swerved a United game that day!
20 years....sheesh.
