    Summer Quiz #4

    How many players can you name that have played for both Dundee United and Newcastle United?

    There are TWELVE players in total.

    They have to have made at least ONE appearance for both sides First Teams. So, Callum Morris (for example) wouldn't meet the criteria as he never broke into the Newcastle first team despite being a youth product there.

    Michael O'Neill, yes.

    Callum Morris, no (never made an appearance for NUFC).

    So, we are at 7 of the 12.

    One more of these was a player who played (very) briefly in the late 90's.

    Ian Mitchell, Alex Reid and Duncan Hutchison are all correct.

    So, we have got 10 of the 12.

    Clues for the other two.

    Clue 1) This player had previously played for Newcastle, moved to Glasgow Rangers and then moved to Utd alongside Davie Wilson in the Govan clubs signing of Orjan Persson.

    Clue 2) This player was signed in '97 and only played twice for Utd. Two very brief cameos in 1-1 draws to both Hibs and Celtic. He actually only played around 5 minutes of football in tangerine and black in total.
