Eddie Machin. The guy lauded as the next Beckenbauer. Did he actually play though? Remember him being outstanding in a reserve match.

I too remember the buzz around his performance in a reserve match.
There was another Argie who signed mid-90's under Tommy McLean, a former Internationalist too (like Ferreyra) iirc. But he flew the coup after about 2 days. Apparently he couldn't handle the weather and our food.
