In the first half the front 3 were constantly pressing EF’s back line, there wasn’t any sitting off and letting them come at us. Docherty’s bite in the midfield was refreshing compared to watching Ian Harkes running away from tackles. Freeman, Glass and Chalmers put in a few good deliveries but wee Rory Macleod couldn’t get there.

Second half Cudjoe had a couple of really good runs and smashed the bar with a good strike from 20 yards.

I won’t be negative but we badly need a goalkeeper and target man for the first game of the season but we and Jim already know that.

Also, the blue goalkeeping kit looks nice.

Docherty went through a boy yesterday and for me that’s good enough. Friendly or not he’s putting boys on there ‘erse for the ball.

I know my feelings will be opposite to United/Ogren, but I’d be willing to lose Levitt for free to keep him and have him help orchestrate our way out this awful league. But totally get why United will want to cash in.
Rooting for Mochrie to make the step up in that case.

I agree GFL but the lack of appetite from last years squad to stay and fight to get the club back up speaks volumes.

Says everything needed to be said about last season in depth player analysis dept and the clown of sporting director that Ogren employed.

Levitt, Fletcher, Behich and a few additions would have been enough to seal the championship.

I get the club want to save money on expensive wages like Fletcher, Levitt and so, but it fucking grinds me when players like Levitt asked to be sold.

Young kid, utter garbage last season and played a part in us going down demanding things. Away to fuck.

Is that actually the case though?

I think it'll probably be more a case of Ogren wanting them sold tbh.
