Jackie Judgement

Some really interesting points on ArabZONE from Jackie and am liking his thoughts on the mentality of players looks like some boys who are mentally weak will be out the door, don't think any of us can disagree that this is the main issue at the moment. We can get up for Celtic and Dundee but canny against St Johnstone and Partick. Must drive the management daft as well as us!

Re: Jackie Judgement

If talking a good game was what football was all about Jackie would be managing Real Madrid right now. He says all the right things but needs to start delivering more often. Agree about players who are mentally weak though. Not naming names but I could pick out 3-4 who really hide when the going gets tough or just go to pieces. The scary thing is one of them will probably net us a lot of money at the end of the season.

Too much commotion

Re: Jackie Judgement

GMS must be one (albeit  his skill outweighs that).

Rado.

I normally find Jackie's interviews pretty boring tbh.The same old generic fitba manager speak, and repeats himself a lot.

But i loved that interview today.First time i've seen him bare his teeth a wee bit and there seemed a wee bit of fire in the belly.Which i have been waiting a while to see.I often find him too laidback.

Was also very interesting to hear him say (in a roundabout way) that he felt we had the ability to win the league. But didn't have the belief and if players couldn't handle the pressure he'd get rid of them.

Reminded a wee bit of Levein after we lost at Ibrox early on in his tenour.Though Jackie puts his point across in a more relaxed manner.

It sounds like he isn't keen to keep any of the out-of contract players on given his response to that question and his demeanour during the answer. He looked pissed off with the players agents and reluctance to approach him regarding a renewal.Almost like Utd are the last resort.I understand that anger tbh.Should be a cut-off point imo for offering players new deals and if they don't want to even discuss with the club we move on (looks like we already are tbh).

Good stuff fae Jackie today.

No idea why Joe Rice doesn't ask about our injuries to Morris,Souttar,Bilate etc though.Fans are totally in the dark on injuries.

100% agree with that TEK he at time looked pissed off to say the least, seems like some boys are weak as piss mentally at times and seem only able to get up for the big games rather that the mentality that is needed every week to continue to win week in week out! Unfortunatly the Sheep and Celtic seem to have this already in place.

Was speaking to the club Doc at the Fermers game and Bilate has been back in Holland to see some specialist about his hammy as the tests done by the club is showing no problems at all. My reading of it is he is a Choc Teapot who loves a good treatment table!
Soapy is still having issues from his last injury and maybe came back too early but we were struggling for defence!

Obviously Morris was injured at the Fermers so no update on him
He did say about Paton but it was a minor issue with his knee but at the time they were just seeing how it was, see from Pate’s tweet last week they did something and he should be back about now

Agree with this.

I like Jackie but a lot of what he says doesn't manifest itself on the pitch. I like his philosophy of bring young players in etc

I'll name one of the players who hides, Armstrong

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Jackie Judgement

I don't think I've saw an interview on Arabzone where the guy asking the questions doesn't bring up Andy Robertson.

Yeah, he is the one I was referring to. The others for me would probably be Rankin, Watson and most definately brainfart Rado.

Tbh, you could make a case for Dow, Dillon and GMS being mentally weak at times as well although Dillon has stepped up to plate as he's got older, GMS gets 'the treatment' which must affect him eventually and Dow is only really on his 2nd full season as a first teamer and this could be put down to a poor spell of form.
