I see ICT are doing a pay what you can for their midweek game on the 20th Jan against St. Cuntstone. Will be interesting to see the results. Will they finally manage to fill their ground?
Out of interest what would you pay if this was on at an away ground and what would you pay at the gate if at Tannadice ignoring if you have a ST or not? I think I would go £8-10 away from home, maybe £12-15 at home.

Might add about 500 to gate. Don't think their is an appetite for it up there which is a shame considering how well they've done

As for as gate prices in general go. I think that £15 is about a fair price for every game.

Yeah, £15 tops is fair enough. I wonder if it is something clubs could potentially look to more permanently for midweek and tv games at least. Especially as many seem to be clearing their debts and achieveing some sort of sustainability, as no longer servicing debt. Can this be passed on to the fans? Probably not, but with a leagues sponsor being talked about again and recents bits and piece in the media starting to actually hand out some praise to our game maybe things are turning slowly for those of us who can actually see it.

£15 seems about right, but would personally take out a mortgage to retain my ST.
Maybe, I'm part of the problem.

If United done this for say a league cup game (no cup top up holders) at home to a low league side, I'd pay £5. Away I'd pay the same.

Fantastic idea that was first engineered by Albion Rovers, who iirc registered a large increase in their gates (initially anyway).
Depends how much money i was earning at the time but i hnestly think your average Premiership game should be no more than a tenner.
Can watch games at Bayern and Barca for 8 euros for example.
We're constantly ripped off in the UK as consumerists.

Have to agree with most above the only downside is the paying punter is still more important to Clubs in Scotland than it is to those in Germany and other larger European Countries due to them being able to offset this with higher revenue through sponsorship, hospitality, tv rights and the like. Kind of feel sorry for the Clubs here as it's a no win situation at times. Take our own Club for example they through their own initiative's and through the help of other affiliated members of the Club offer kids season tickets for peanuts and then get criticism for they seats being empty in a sold out game in the middle of winter! A double edged sword indeed. Where we should be looking is taking heed from the likes of Barry Hearn and get promoting our game to bring in much needed cash flow rather than advertise it as Armageddon as the grandmasters of Scottish Football do and while we're at it play it at the right time of year and watch the gates and revenue go up allowing for the prices to come down. Just my opinion likes.

I'd give them £11.34
a penny for each of their fans.

£15 is a fair amount, I'd pay that for a Saturday game and £10 midweek or televised game.

U beat me to it, was thinking along these lines. Just a simple case of less streams of revenue or smaller amounts. And we need to get positive. First step get rid of all those negative fuckwits that spout their shite every other day in papers/radio/tv.
