What is the coldest Utd match you've attended?

Easy one for me. The first game on Utd going on to win the Scottish Cup in 2010.

Partick Thistle 0 Utd 2 (Casalinouvo, Goodwillie)

Saturday January 9th 2010

Was so cold that day i swore i seen a Polar bear walk down Maryhill Road after the match

was at Easter Road when we played there over the festive period, was about minus 3 when i was dropped off and seem to just get colder as the game went on.

Memory is a bit hazy but think that was the incident with Coombe and the linesman when Jack never gave us the ball after it was put out for treatment.

Two games come to mind, Stenhousemuir in the challenge Cup final in Perth, fuckin baltic.

And the other was at Broadwood, might have been the season before in the Scottish cup.

Went into the Munns vaults before that game and the heating had packed in it was that cold.

Cracking sunny day at the end of the cup run though.

Brechin away about 4 years ago when we held on for a valiant 1-1 draw.

Re: What is the coldest Utd match you've attended?

Kilmarnock away when Ivan Golac was manager. Baltic, heavy snow, and united were dire.

Re: What is the coldest Utd match you've attended?

Inverness away, was a midweek game, bitterly cold was 0-0 with nothing happening the whole game. Was the match where Russell broke his leg but stayed on the pitch another 15/20 mins until being taken off at half time.

Special mention for the 3-3 draw up at Pittodrie in 97 got in late so was stood in the totally exposed section at the end, absolutely baltic. At least the game was entertaining

Going way back to the old Easter Road, sure it was around the new year time, wind howled in to an open tearrace.....sure there was a lassie collapsed at halftime but i could have been hallucinating by that point....
