I saw this, today. I enjoyed it, a lot.

The frightening thing was, how old the audience was. I literally didn’t know whether these balding, paunchy old guys with their comfort fit jeans were with their sons or their carers. Then, that moment of reflection: “Do I look like that”?

Ok, there weren’t any great lines like there was in the original, but, I liked the cast and the simplicity of the plot: Enemy, illegal nuclear facility, two weeks to get “the best of the best” ready (isn’t it refreshing to have a film where a 5yo could follow the plot?)

Lady GaGa’s song is memorable.

It was particularly nice to hear all the geriatrics sons’ making favourable noises about it. Overheard one opine “ Dad, Tom Cruise always looks the same”
