Interviews with Courts and Levitt (and McNulty)Thanks for posting but I had to turn it off. The interviewers questions are totally inane. It's painful, poor Dylan & Tam having to react to such puerile questions.
Tam tries his hardest & speaks well to be fair. He's a bit more erudite than most of our recent managers. Just needs to slow his speech down a bit, it's a bit machine-gun-ish.
Indeed the questions are absolutely fuckin
awful. Surely these people are not getting paid for that.
I found it hard to concentrate on anything bar Mcnultys hair

We are due a successful loan signing from England as almost all have been failures in recent years.
Hope this young man bucks the trend. By the law of averages, surely he will.
Ban me for life if I'm wrong. We've picked up a quality young player here. Will immediately improve us and the other reason im excited is that it's a marker of intent from Courts that we might try an play football again.

Definitely, couple more and we should have a squad capable of getting into top 6.
A strong striker that can bully other teams and another center half.
Hopefully nobody else leaves.
We really don't need another center half mate, our cup runneth over in that department. A big striker to get on the end of crosses now we have a winger will do me.
A big Striker in now and i'm happy to call it quits at that until January.
Assuming no-one else leaves, that is.

I bloody hope you're right.
I won't ban you for life (or even a day) if you're wrong though.😜

Wouldn’t be against another winger. I have my doubts about Chalmers ability to stay fit over the course of a season. Wonder what’s happened with the boy Irandust? There was definitely truth in that from what I heard, but that was early summer.
Appere has the physicality to play the target man role, he was a good foil for Shankland in the championship. Needs a run of games up top though, and needs to add goals to his game.

I like Appere but i really don't see him as a 'target man' Mario. Not actually sure what his best position is tbh.
From what i've seen of him so far the strongest part of his game is him cutting onto his right foot from the left wing, but he isn't a Winger in the traditional sense as he can't take a man on on the flank or cross into the box with any great success. We don't have the luxury to give him a run of games to see if he can play as target man Striker either. I do think he has ability btw, but he's raw. Just think he's a bit part player at the moment. And would need to impress via the subs bench first and foremost.
On Irandust. Did he never actually make a move then?
P.s. agree on Chalmers. Seems worryingly injury prone.

Humble Pie where Humble Pie's due Tony.
Mulgrew - class.
McNulty might work better this year not being shoehorned all over the show
Niskanen finally.
Levitt, could be a inspired signing - kept that one quiet.
Shanks departure inevitable - seems like we got reasonable money all things considered.
Keep Fuchs and Benji would cap it off nicely.

I’d love a big striker in the Daly or even Safranko mould. However didn’t Tam say nobody else unless someone leaves.
We've got our big striker have we not?
McNulty's no midget. 5'10".
Could be preferable to a 6'4" dumpling.
Is it a Ikpeazu type you're looking for? 10 goals in 55 games for Hearts. Maybe he spread chaos away from goal.
I want to see Appere this season, where the hell is he?
Online!
I don't usually like to see loan signings especially ones that we know won't be at the club after the loan deal but I think this is a good bit of business done by the club as it will allow Mochrie, Meekison and Glass a bit of time to develop without the pressure of being our main creative outlets. Looking forward to seeing a winger again also.

Agreed, hopefully the benefits of him showing our young guns the level they need to get to outweighs any first team game time he takes from them.
Of course there is no guarantee it works out like that, but it has all the makings of things starting to come toegether.

Kerr Smith and Robson will be out before midnight Tuesday, light up top and at left back, time for Asghar to pull a rabbit out the hat

Our squad is very thin. I doubt there will be any incomings

Heard Robson to Lincoln city now very likely

If Robson's offski, wonder who our "permanent" Left-back is gonna be.

Still think we are incredibly light in attacking areas, Saturday completely highlighted it

We are top heavy in the Center back area, I would like to see either Reynolds or Connelly leave Tomorrow and a Jon Daly type signed please as a minimum.

Flynn Duffy ?
Could easy turn out to be an improvement.

Niskanen has the paperwork!! Hurray!!
He may be stinking but equally if he turns out great and worthy of a song I suggest....
(To the tune of rasputin)
Na Na Niskanen
Winger for the Tangerines
He cuts inside and gets a goal....
Sure somebody else can finish it off 🤣🤣🤣
It's a signing I'm happy to see having happened and look forward to see him play

BTW, like the sang Tangy.

What length of contract have we signed him on?
