Fucking cunts.

15 mins to go and we're winning and Celtic 0-0, thinking if we win derby we're top on NYD.

Bet Celtic win now.

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Celtic drop 2 points.

Accies drop 3.

And we fucking throw away a win.

Only one sub made in the last few minutes and keeping injured player/s on.

Losing the same 2 goals we ALWAYS lose against that shower.Have we learned nothing Jackie ?

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Celtic dropping points today means we’ll have the tightest top five at New Year since 1993/94. And that was in the days of 2pts for a win.
  Armageddon eh

We don't give a damn what the others say
We'll cheer on United all the way
For we are the Terrors of Tannadice

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Will be interesting to hear from the boys who were there to see if we were screaming out for a change.

From what little I heard on the wireless United were cruising at 1-0 and Armstrong should have made it 2-0, we were hitting them on the break but not under much pressure.

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Morris was clearly struggling badly with an injury all 2nd half but Jackie refused to take him off even though he was struggling more and more to the point it was like us playing with 10 men. We missed two great chances at 1-0. Eventually the players looked fooked covering for Morris and it definately contributed to the 2nd goal. Jackie blew it for us today by being a stubborn cunt. I am fecking pissed right off.

The majority here should be pleased with today's performance since it was the exact same as against Celtic, and that performance was fucking brilliant, apparently. Infact, today was even better a performance than against Celtic as we had many more chances today and the opposition had far less than the Tims got.

How the end result blinds the view of the whole game.

Another fucking shite toothless performance, relying on hoofing the ball up tae shifty or somehow squeezing the ball through the middle in a very uncertain, shoddy, and rough around the edges attacking gameplan that isn't sure whether it is fast counter or possession. Absofuckinglutely screaming for some penetration down both flanks. The difference that GMS made when he finally came on was very telling.

Celtic result was a fluke, which everyone who seen the game and who isn't wearing tangerine blinkered glasses knows anyway, and today we got what we deserved. Shite performance from a load of cunts who are either off the boil, hearts not in it, or just aren't good enough.

This for me, apart from the fact Morris was struggling from before half-time. Because of this, I'm going to break with tradition and criticise Jackie for his only mistake today.

Otherwise, we were creating good openings, unfortunately often being too elaborate, and could easily've scored a second and killed the game.

It was absolutely nothing like the SCF or the freaky Butcher red card game.

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Jackie really phukd up today.

Morris was injured in a difficult but brave challenge to stop a chance for them. He thereafter limped badly for over 30 mins of the second half. He could hardly walk at times , was struggling MASSIVELY and yet Jackie left him on. Feking unreal. Massive error from Jackie, he should have been subbied plus the game was crying out for GMS or Connolly or Telfer ( wtf was he btw ?) Whole support could see this and yet Jackie did nothing. Morris involved in the failings at both their goals.

Very ,very disappointing indeed and easily avoidable with the correct management and decisions to change the team.

Great support through too. My daughters first away gehm, ruined by stupidity. Seriously doubt Morris will be fit for the derby after having to play injured for half an hour.

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Wasnae at the game because of the wife's birthday bash. That turned out to be a phuckin disaster as well. Mate who was at the game told me Morris was hobblin aboot for nearly the whole of the 2nd half. Is that right enough? WTF did he no go doon onto the dirt, or tell the bench. Aiden, Dowser and GMS on the bench ana, and no sub till the 88th minute. FFS.

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

Even my dad who was not at the game was going nuts at the radio telling Jackie to take morris off. Spittal was fucked with no legs, GMS, Dow, Connolly all on the bench but he decides to keep the same team. even at 1-1, useless cunt.

Boys getting oot their pram about United -its not like yesterday was the first time we've ever lost

Not talking about any previous posts here -texts i was getting and the general demeanour after the game -i'm not sure what people expect -lot of people need to grow up and back the club and manager.

Oh, what came of the things we once believed?

Re: St Johnstone v United - Saturday 27th December 2014 - 3pm

I wish i had the faith of you guys above.

I'm just not sure about McNamara and his ability to take us to the next level.

Some of the comments on social media on Saturday may have appeared OTT if that loss was a one-off but the fact is that is the FIFTH time we have lost to St.Johnstone in a year chaps.A team with a (IMO) inferior team and squad.

We were ahead on Saturday and by all accounts out 'St.Johnstoning' St.Johnstone with a stuffy workmanlike performance but he then proceeds to keep an injured player on for the entire 2nd half and not bring on fresh legs when the arse is clearly falling out the performance.Awful management and bewildering.

I'm a huge Utd supporter but imo Jackie gets cut some slack that Houstie and others wasn't afforded. And the top flight we are competing in is the weakest it's ever been. The arguement that 'but hey we're 2nd,3rd,4th' whatever is a wee bit of a facade for me.We have the 3rd biggest support and budget in the top flight. We should be 3rd minimum.Anything else is failure.Houston (the guy who's still pilloried) finished 3rd in a top flight with Rangers,Hearts,Hibs and a substantially better Motherwell side than the current one.

That's a fact gents.

January is a huge month in his Utd career IMO.

I get a horrible feeling we won't add to the squad. He was commenting the other day that Brian Graham was only let go because Jordan Moore was a prospect. The lad has just recovered fae cancer and has played twice for the U20's this season.Just an odd throwaway comment, but the type of quote that has me really questioning him as our Gaffer i'm afraid.

I back him 100% of course. As i have every Utd Manager.

I back him 100%.And hope beyond hope he is the biggest success story in our clubs history.

I will however give my opinions on here on him and everyone else employed by Dundee Utd.

Kinda the point of the Forum.

Absolutely, TEK, but it could be like criticising my loved ones, so I'll always take umbrage.

Bugsy you're a glass half-full guy and i totally respect that.

This forum (and every other one for that matter) needs some kind of an equalibrium between positive and negative posters for it to work.

This Forum is more regulary weighted on the side of positivity than others i would suggest.

It's just it's creator that's a moany bastard mostly lol.

Absolutely, TEK, and the positivity is the main attraction for me.

The creator is justly entitled to negative dispensation.

If you feel it's getting too positive for you just pop over to mad.
