Fair point, but what is people's end game?
Seems like too many people on here are keen to point out to MO that he has made a terrible mistake in trusting TA and that he will never make any money. What are they hoping for by doing that?
I'm not having a go, I just genuinely don't see what the point is. Especially since mostly it is based on a dislike of TA's personality and stating of speculation as if it was fact
That's pretty much where I am as well. A lot of this seems to based on a dislike of TA.
Would it be controversial to say that he wasted a hell of a lot less money than fans favourite Mr E ThompsonHead in sand again. It's not a dislike of TA - I don't really care what he does, as long as he's not doing it to my football club. I don't think anyone can blame ET for not having the club at heart even if he was, in the end chucking his own money away. TA is chucking someone else's money away with that someone else thinking he's investing it for a future return - that will end well.
Mark Ogren is a multi-millionaire through being an astute and successful businessman. If he can't spot things from being involved on a nearly day to day basis but you can, from your laptop in your front room, then he would probably like to hear from you.
Edit to say i'm actually fed up of every thread turning into a topic about TA some way or another. Now no doubt he is playing a big role at our club so discussion is inevtiable and particularly if things aren't going as well as they could (which no one can deny). But the constant sniping and negative outlook, in spite of facts to the contrary on some topics, is bordering on obsession.
Things need to improve on and off the park, we all agree with that. I'm in the camp that see's and acknowledges some of the postives over the past 2 years, as well as observing the brutal environment at the minute, so am willing to give the club time to improve without the constant negativity - which isn't even decent debate.

All these supporters who feel they can see what's going wrong at Tannadice from their bedroom but MO can't see it.

The fact that MO has been successful in business doesn't mean that he won't be unsuccessful here. I think it is taking a bit of a gamble with our club to say that because he has been successful he won't mess this up. What is being challenged by many is the overall direction the club is being taken and whether we have the nous and people to take us there especially, as you say, in a current brutal environment.
I don't like being negative and haven't been overly negative through our banter years (bar the 6-1 defeat at Falkirk). I do fear that the MO/TA direction of travel (and I admit it could be wholly MOs decisions and TA could be execution only) is taking us in only one direction. One game v Aberdeen is not the issue. It's where we are going to be if MO cuts his losses and runs.
I am even willing to give TC time. I don't like his bullshit bingo, but he must have something about him as he did manage positive results with Kelty so its not as if he knows nothing about football, even if it is at a different level.
