Pay less attention to social media and rival fans shardenfrauder. If Courts dosent win games he will be removed if we employ an experienced manager and he dosent get results he will be removed.

It's only 6months ago that our neighbours were almost unanimously screaming for the removal of their inexperienced manager.

I can very clearly see what is going on as I said the current 1st without additions is destined for league 2. However calmness is required.

I appreciate your sense of loyalty and patience.  As an Arab of over 40 years standing we have needed that in spades over the years.  This is different.

Probably the last real chance to get any real cash for him. If he has made it clear that he will not extend his contract the club has a decision to make.

Whilst, i agree with that Beharder, the fact that it is doing the rounds in football that Utd are actively trying to sell their two prize playing assets this window (and others) means that interested clubs will know we are desperate for cash and probably hold off until late in the window, when we are more likely to accept a lesser bid.


 

 
I would say that almost everyone in Scottish football in the last year of their contract is up for sale. It will be well known in the small circles of Scottish football(agents) who wants who and what wages are achievable
The same applies to us as a buying 🤞club looking for the best deals at the end of the window.

No big surprise, we offered him that new contract weeks ago and not heard a peep since. The plan was obviously to extend his contract, hope he'd bang in some goals to bump up his value and sell in the Jan window or end of the season. Now the club has to sell him this window in order to get some return on him and it will probably be for peanuts in any case.

Can't wait to see who we have ready and lined up to replace him...

If we sign 2 strikers one needs to be a proper big target man and the other needs to have pace.

We could also do with a central midfielder who can put their foot on the ball and dictate things to add to TEK's list.

I was thinking about things yesterday and came to the conclusion that the group that played on Sunday (the Championship winning team) have done well to get out of the Fundesliga and keep us up, but have taken us as far as they can. We need a major rebuild with incoming boys with pace and who want the ball, supplemented by the young players we have like Chalmers, Mochrie, Smith, Freeman etc.

The Hearts/Covid situation halted any plans we had for a squad rebuild.
However without that rebuild I think most are agreed (regardless of who the manager is)  we are only going one way.

I would add into that mix that the Ogrens are now expecting to see some signs of the model they were sold working, not the full payback just some sign of the green shoots of success. Out with Banks sale there has been no other sales. 

From memory, shankland is on huge cash (compared to the majority of our team) - so perhaps the fact we got so little from him last season combined with the fact we could possibly sign 2 players for the sake of 1....
