Plenty of specifics to look at but 35 minutes each way ball in play seems to be the starting point.
Why not make it 40 minutes, footballers are lazy ba$tard$.

I'd bring in Oscar Card. These Hollywood fairy (no disrespect to fairies) bastards rolling around in agony every opportunity they get rightly bring our game into disrepute. Proud we don't do it too much in Scotland. 


Need to take a look at Rugby League, best officiated game I know of. Whole game focuses on keeping ball in play.
In 80 minute game you'll get say 75 mins of football.​
Like League or not (and it is somewhat of an acquired taste) it is worth watching to get a comparison. 
No perfect but big improvement. 


Improvements we could look at include:
- Roll on subs.
- Minor injuries physios run on, game keeps going. 
- Head knocks serious injuries - ref calls time out.
- All ins, yellow cards -  ref calls time out.
- Limit time keeper can fanny around taking goal kicks.
- Please God may we never bring in VAR in Scotland. 

Won't happen.

Oh and that silly twat ref the other night - every time we won free kick and played on, he'd pull the game back to give Czech boy rap over knuckles  ... ffs !  Was doing my head in.
