Watched this interview just now and i am far more optimistic. He speaks well.



Good to hear us say we will be making signings and that he acknowledges we need experienced players. Part of the supports worry is the fear we are filling the team with too many kids who are simply not ready. But perhaps this fear has been overblown. I certainly hope so.

Also glad to hear Asghar, firstly, put himself in front of a microphone and explain the appointment. And secondly, very, very good to hear him state Top 6 is the aim this coming season.

About fucking time we started speaking this way again.

We are the 6th biggest club in the country (by a decent margin too btw). Says a lot that the media people in attendance immediately felt that that aim was 'bold'.

It's not. Us finishing 6th is us 'hitting par'. Anything above we are over achieving. Anything under is under achieving.

People have just forgotten how big this club is. Let's remind them.👊
