    Has just got 200 on Test debut at Lords for NZ v the auld enemy.
    Doesn't get much better than that.
    Brilliant effort will be talked about, breaking all sorts of records.

    By way of apology for a dodgy post using a footballer's name as a lead can I provide another cricket item that may be of historical significance.
    We are not the first DUNDEE UNITED.
    There was a DUNDEE UNITED CRICKET CLUB formed in the last decade of the 19th century.
    I apologise too if that is useless information.
    But on the outside chance that  anyone is in the least bit interested I can reveal more.
