So, a league campaign that started last July finally comes to it's conclusion this weekend.
It's not been a vintage season or one that will be looked back on fondly. Indeed it will probably only be remembered for the fact that it was the season when there was zero Utd fans in attendance at any of our games.
Let's hope next season gives us some more memorable moments ,and with fans back in attendance.
Would be nice to go out with a good performance, some goals and a win.
My team would be.
..........................Mehmet..........
L.Smith....Edwards...Reynolds...Robson
...........Pawlett..Fuchs..Appere...
...Chalmers..Shankland..Meekison...
Subs - Doohan, Connolly, Spörle, Clark
Harkes, K.Smith, Butcher, Davidson, McNulty

For me I'd go with:
Deniz
L Smith K Smith Edwards Davidson
Fuchs Butcher
Chalmers Meekison Appere
Shankland
I'd like to see the same team as Wednesday but Edwards or Reynolds in for Connolly. He's a fucking liability.
Obviously don't want to see anyone injured but we'll see a different defensive partnership on Sunday now

Can only guess that the lack of post-match postings for the match says something about the lack of enthusiasm aboot it.
Here's meh farthings worth.
1st half was pretty good. There was a nice wee chip over by Fuchs at the halfway line was nice to see.
Chalmers play down the wing has been excellent.
Shame that Shanks couldna score from the header. That was a good cross in fae Robson.
2mnd half kinda drifted awa.
Bit daft fae Robson. He didna have a good touch, then had his studs showing.
MOTM for me Chalmers.
1 phuckin goal woulda given us 7th.
Yeah not far off the mark Billy.
Shanks losing his touch this season cost us top 6.
That header you refer to would have been either side of the goalie.
Despite losing his goal touch I think he was still a very important player for us over the season, still doing a lot of very good stuff.
Maybe that early season injury he got kocked him off his stride?

Just some pish to lift spirits a tiny bit.
As it happens we did get the result we were looking for at the weekend. Well in a manner of speaking..
On the Pointless Celebrities Quiz Show on Saturday night, the pair in the final round had to pick an English or Scottish football team with the letter 'U" in its name.
They of course went for the world famous. They didn't win on the answer because Dundee United got 3 points.
Not a great omen I admit, but it's available on Catch-Up on Virgin TV if anybody wants to see it.

Good pub quiz question on the back of Billy's post....
Name 4 Scottish SPFL teams with two 'U's' in their name.
