Re: Callum Butcher

He must start next week against St Johnstone to give them hammer throwing bastards some payback.  His tackle (nearly split him in half) on Biton yesterday was a thing of beauty.

Re: Callum Butcher

Potential midfield linchpin.

Anyone who can kick Scott Brown and Goodwin up and down the park should be signed up pronto.

Re: Callum Butcher

Hope this isn't the case. His passion on the field would suggest he is dedicated to the cause. Although he has been playing well of late, I would be surprised if there is many offers on the table for him.

Re: Callum Butcher

Perhaps his great form is explained by "playing for a contract"?

Re: Callum Butcher

Possibly bugs he has looked a player since he signed.

Re: Callum Butcher

Decent cover for CB but he's been a revelation for me in midfield.

Re: Callum Butcher

Never liked him at CH, but hes certainly found his position now. Better touch today and he could have sealed the win, but cant fault him outside of that.

Re: Callum Butcher

Vital player in the team right now.

Re: Callum Butcher

I have a feeling the reason the club hasn't announced anything publicly is that he has signed a pre-contract with someone else down south and the clubs have agreed to keep it between themselves.

This is one pure speculation from myself and not based on any fact or information that i have heard. Just after a consistent run of form for a while now that maybe the club have tried to get him signed up again but Butcher has politely declined as he wants to go back down south.

Big loss for the team if this does transpire.

Re: Callum Butcher

I felt that was one of Butchers quieter games yesterday. Big Jarek was in my opinion the terrors best outfield player yesteday, some fans are now kinda in danger of taking for granted having a centre half who wins headers.

Hope no, just like John Eustace came and went on to better things, he would be another who got away

Eustace was just a loan signing, although we wanted to make it permanent.

Hope we make Butch an offer he can't refuse.

Re: Callum Butcher

Offer him a big wage increase and build the midfield around him.

The boys a class act.

The type of pitbull in midfield we've been crying out for,but he can also play.
