I have seasons 1-3 in boxed set, just finished 1 last night. Excellent story. Season 4 in box out early next year.

Watched the first 2 or 3 episodes but it never engrossed me tbh.
Might go back to it and try again though.

Ha ha, that's done it for me too.
I've heard a lot of talk about this show but never really knew what "it was about" people said "fantasy" and I was sceptical, but if this synopsis is accurate I'm deffo giving it a miss.

Brilliant series. Much more to it than dragons, etc. It's a tale of warring factions engaging in power play. I have read the entire six books which led to the TV series, and am considering doing so again at some point.

Absolutely the one and only television drama that I have ever even watched, let alone been totally engrossed in, since my mind started to mature in my early 20s (obviously when my head was more full of shit, I could enjoy things on TV much more than I can now)..
Fucking top gadgie!
If ye dinnae like it, then you must be 'ane of them', that disnae like Father Ted (apart from Father Jack) prefering to watch American shitcoms, like Friends.
Since having had the pleasure of actually enjoying some story-telling thing on the idiot box, I have tried on a few occasions to find something else to replace it. Each and everytime I sit down to some TV drama series recommended to me, by someone who says 'its just like Game of Thrones, I haven't been able to bear more than 20 minutes before it gets turned aff. But Game of Thrones is the real deal. This is how stories should be told on the idiot box.
